  • Thanks re cash back advice - hmmm when I change bband provider I will try this out! Insurances I get via my local broker who are very good and always find me a great deal. Every so many years I check up on them by looking at other offers but they still come out on top! :-)

£1 TT'd this morning taking the fund to £11.10 for Jan, just £8.90 to go and 13 days for my £20 target. So 68p per day...!

Posted 6 eBay items this morning and made £9.66 from postage. Amazingly they all sneaked through as large letters!

I obviously worry far too much:eek: I would be waiting to see if anybody mentioned the postage charges when leaving feedback.:(

I have a problem keeping track of all my items listed, how do you keep track of all your items ? Lil suggested a box, but I have a fair bit more than any box would take:o

We've had it once with bad feedback, which I think is poor given you accept the postage costs when you bid surely. And that particular time we'd set it at £3.20 and it went at £2.80. So I just blocked them from bidding again.

And why worry, you'll never meet them!!

55p TT'd this morning, so slightly behind yesterday's set daily average but I'm sure we'll catch up.

January is a spendy month for us with 5 close family birthdays, and one was a 40th this time round. Overall it's not been as bad as it could have been due to eBay sales virtually paying for DS1's birthday. With new baby in the house I'm sure February will be a more financially sedate month.

It seems like on looking back at last years financials I'm more determined than ever to accelerate plans so February is the month to plan it and start it. The last year ive been targeting £450 OP as minimum and £500 as hopefull. I think I want to average £600 for 2016! Need to do some fiddling as its a considerable increase but what do we say about challenges...!

  • Good luck with the new target, SJ! Even if you fall short a bit, you should still be ahead of last year's numbers. :)
  • Any sign of baby SJ number 3 yet? I probably won't be online again now until Thursday night so I'm sure it will all have happened by then.. good luck to you and mrs SJ, can't wait to hear the news.

Thanks all, I have my packed lunch ready to make tonight so I'm prepped for a long day. I don't function without food!!

TT'd 47p this morning and have just had a nice surprise as £13.18 was ready for Quidco cash out, so that's been requested and will be a nice addition to januarys' OP total! There' still a further £70 waiting to pay from pet and home insurance as well.

I did have a quick fiddle with my spreadsheet whilst having a coffee in work yesterday afternoon to start thinking about plans for 2016 and finding an extra £100 per month. However it was on my iPad so not as user friendly (or familiar) as on laptop. I do have some ideas and plans, and I think I need to re-post an updated monthly budget (not a fan of the SOA method). That will definitely be a job whilst on leave next week.

edit - having a lazy work day today given I'm off for 2 weeks from tomorrow and no point starting any jobs/tasks!
