Pumpkin picking is getting to be a thing, isn't it! Creating memories by extra sploshing is a great idea, have lots of fun!2023: the year I get to buy a car5

Pumpkin picking was a lovely couple of hours. There was also a haunted maize, which the little un's absolutely loved. We got away with the rain, but there was still plenty of mud for wellies.
No real financials to report other than a few card payment round ups.
MFiT-T5 spreadsheet has been updated and for the first time I've dropped into the yellow with a shortfall of £493With 1 more 3 month period to go before the end I think we'll finish about £1k short of our stretch target. I start have a think about what kind of target to set for MFiT-T6, hoping that someone will run it of course
I'm currently thinking of around the £20k mark.
Onwards and downwards!

I am loving the pick your own pumpkins this year. Round here (East Anglia) it is driven by a shortage of labour but you have to admire the "event" approach that the growers are taking. Carving lessons and all sorts hereSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

Little round up of accounts yesterday and I OP'd £3.55 from debit card round ups from the week. I would say that I have about £8 to find from these bits and bobs to reach my 1% target for the year, which is pleasing. I may go for 1.5% next year.
All is rather serene here at the moment. I'm continuing with a gradual quest to rid 'stuff' from the house so quite a few things have been binned over the weekend. 1 bag of teddys went to charity donation, and I have a charity bag of outgrown clothes in the garage steadily filling up.
This is my main focus for November. Find some room in the house in readiness for replacing it with Christmas stuff! To be fair DS1 & DS2 are now at the stage that we don't really acquire extra stuff. DD on the otherhand...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......7 -
Enjoyed the catch up. Am decluttering here but for different reasonsMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4
