Anyway that's me signing off for a week. Taking DS1 to beavers camp for the day, then to work for a few hours, then will pick DS1 up at 5 and head to the lakes for a caravan weekend. Mrs SJ and DS2 will be heading off at lunch so when i arrive all will be done and unpacked and me and DS1 can arrive and cause chaos!!

Yeh a similar house value to us :)

My OP goal will be £500 per month, which is the max we can overpay on our current deal. Anything else will be saved and in 2017 when the deal is up I will prob make a big chunk overpayment ....if I manage to save a big chunk that is :rotfl:
    Total Mortgage OP £61,000
    Outstanding Mortgage £27,971

Sat with feet up,drinkng coffee outside our caravan in the sun. Kids been swimming and are knocking about on bikes, scooters playing with bubbles!!
I must confess to drifting off them was rudely woken by a plane!!
If anyone has kids at primary school age and are in the south lakes area, check out Lakeland maze. Excellent attraction, kids loved it yesterday and we had to dodge a few downpours, but lots to do inside and out.

Expensive day today out on the boats at Windermere. Have to say it was disaster as well as DS1 was phenomenally noisy and DS2 had the devil in him!! They combined to wind mrs SJ up, which in turn got me in bother!

So lesson of the day is don't try any days out with a 6 & 2yr old that doesn't include a play centre, play ground or water!

In full agreement with the 2p machines. It just gets difficult with those flamin grabber ones!!

Overall we've done very well budget wise on our hols, and once I've done the sums I expect to find we're about £100 under budget (it helps with Mrs SJ being pregnant and our booze bill being £0). This MFW thing is really ingrained now!

I'll put any underspend from hols ba k into holiday funds for next trip(s).
