:beer:Mrs SJ has left me with a long list of jobs:
    [STRIKE]Finish off unpacking and washing
    Try to get stuff dried
    Defrost the freezer
    Put clean clothes away[/STRIKE]

Successful day today i'd say - so i get chicken casserole for tea :j

As for the kids, we had a morning of visiting whilst weather at its worst. Then this afternoon we've done bikes, play ground, football, trampolining and now boys are painting in the conservatory. Mrs SJ is taking over for bath time so i'm off out with 'Vinnie the Mini'!

I can have a much needed rest at work tomorrow ;)

Oh and i did better than a NSD as i found 5p road kill which is nestled nicely in my small change jar

After my highly successful day yesterday getting my chores done, I've followed it up with a busy day in work, so have managed another NSD. So whilst i have a break in work i thought i would share my joy...

Just 2 days to accounts posting day. That will be my 5th account posting, time flies...

Well i'm sat here reading everyone else's diaries and it making me very eager to post on my own diary. However i must confess that i'm struggling to think of anything to talk about!

So i've had a quick look at my targets. The next aim on my horizon is to be under £130k by the end of September. I am extremely confident of achieving this and in fact on September 1st i'll actually be approx £130,150.

Furthermore on November 1st my daily interest will be £6.99, so technically i'll beat that target by 30 days!

So there you have it, your diaries have inspired me to have a glance at spreadsheets and see how mt targets are looking. I'm now looking forward to place a line through the September target on the first post :j

Don't let that stop you, it doesn't stop the rest of us :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • I waffle on about everything. I know it's a MFW forum but our diaries are to keep our focus. I talk about menu/food, when I'm delighted that my washing is on the line, walking my hounds, baking cakes.

Waffle, waffle but even the stuff above means something - washing on the line, no tumble drier, saves electricity. Walking my hounds, free exercise etc etc.

It's your diary and use it how you want to - by posting every day you are reminded about what your aim is. Whether that is direct OPs, investments as it makes more £, Tilly Tidies - up to you.

Apart from that, the MFW forum is full of good supportive people - just waffle away with the rest of us.

    Best wishes Tilly x x

Thanks for all your support people!

Exciting and nervous day today. We have 12 wk scan this afternoon! Mrs SJ is actually 13 1/2 weeks now but we were away so its a tad delayed.

I'v also just found out how much back pay Mrs SJ is getting in tomorrows pay so have decided to put most into the maternity fund (mainly to help get enough cash so she can have 9 months off), and then i'm gonna throw a cheeky £70 OP to the mortgage as this will round up June and July overpayment totals to £500 for each month!

But :shhh: don't tell Mrs SJ as she'll want to buy 'stuff' :D
