Well with all talk of University off the table/page for now...
12p TT this morning. Up and at em early, a light dusting of snow outside. A day of running around ahead, with football for DS2 this morning, then dog walk, then swimming lesson for DS2. All the while Mrs SJ will have a hangover from her works do last night!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Although it was indoor football was bitterly cold. Then a bitterly cold dog walk...i timed it well though was home and waiting for kettle to boil when an almighty snow/sleet/hail shower descended!
Cant win now as am sat watching swimming lesson in sub tropical temperatures and its all i can do to keep my eyes open. To rub salt in i went for a drink out of vending machine only to be scuppered by forgetting to bring cash. So am now rapidly dehydrating (a shade dramatic i know...).
And guess what awaits my return?? Yes, another dog walk!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Your totals are looking fab sj:j. Enjoy that bracing dog walk

The walk was actually lovely. I went after we'd had our meal, wrapped up warm and braced for the onslaught. In the end it was dry and without a breath of wind. Most relaxing 40mins of the day!!
Reminds me perfectly of one of favourite quotes:
"There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes"
Got a nice day tomorrow as taking the boys to watch a kids Christmas play at local theatre. We've got lots of treats and Christmas jumpers at the ready! After that we're all hoping it'll be sledges and snowmen if we are to believe the forecasters!
Not forgetting first job for the day is to OP our weekly TT pot!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Quick check in. £1 TT and the OP the weekly pot of £3.43. Also 4 ebay items have bids and hoping for a few more before listings end tonight.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Last week in work...finally! Got an 11hr day today with lots of meetings from 4pm, but i don't care as its my last Monday in work for 2017. 6 items sold last night so i'll nip out the office for a walk to post those.
I started the week off with a nice £1 TT but that will be it till payday on Friday as tomorrow we will go into our overdraft. We've had to pay for a school trip for DS1 (yes in December, crazy school planning) so are £210 down in account. Grandparents are insisting on paying but we haven't got the money yet. I'm also about £150 down on expenses that i'll get back on my Christmas Eve pay (all my fault for being late and they are from Sept, Oct and Nov!
I was having a think about finances last night...yes i know that folks like us think about finances every night... from a point of progression through our journey. When you look at the figures the OP's we make are pretty astounding, and sometimes looking month to month don't do them justice. So we don't congratulate ourselves enough. So at the end of each month when i do monthly figures i'll also do something something along the lines of where we were 1yr, 2yr, 5yr ago etc...
That's it from me. Have to report that MB for December so far has been pathetic. I've hit virtually none of the reloads, and made 2 mistakes that cost me £16 and £30. So as we stand now my profit for the first 10 days of the month is a measly £25!! I'm hoping for some good offers with the Christmas football.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
