The dreaded wedding... You do just have to ignore the cost but it'll end up being an amazing day, and coming from a bloke that says a lot!!
Ebay refund going slowly. Typically (and expectedly) they refused so its now down to ebay and their methods of which the next phase starts tomorrow.
And i totally agree with OH colouring in the bricks. To begin with that was the only way I could get Mrs SJ interested. After that i dropped in little hints of daily interest until she was aghast and i showed her my spreadsheet. Now we have a regular session when i show her all our progress and she's not allowed to roll her eyes!!
Its now total family task! I Onwards and upwards...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......1 -
Bit of a whirlwind couple of days - Baby Number 3 is in the oven!! That's gonna put a dent in my overpayment plans!!
A fabulous dent though :jMFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......2 -

Thanks all for the congrats. We're still a bit shocked!
Not going to be very MSE next week as we have a family week at centre parcs! That said our boys are obsessed with swimming so we fully expect the majority of the time to be spent in the pools.
My monthly update will be sorted and posted this weekend, and on the face of it we've had another good one and remain on schedule (very, very, very early days).
I have some budgets to sort for maternity leave, but think i have a cunning plan to cover all bases and only be about £50 per month off overpayment target. We are extremely fortunate that Mrs SJ gets 26 weeks at full pay and a further 3 months on statutory. So my goal is to save enough money to get her the full 9 months off, before she would go on no pay.
It does put a spanner in the works for our house decorating plans though...!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......2 -

So, i'm signing off for the week as we head to centre parcs for a fun filled, money spending week - good job i've been well schooled in the art of MSE!
Our accounts for May are done and posted just above, i've posted on the MFW 2015 challenge with our monthly total, I've taken and submitted our meter readings. The kids clothes are packed, the food is packed, the car has been emptied and hoovered. All that remains is our clothes to pack and we're good to go.
Been a tough day today as it's exactly a year that we lost our Miniature Schnauzer Harvey (avatar pic) to a short cancer illness, so we've spent lots of time playing with and making a fuss of Vinnie (new schnauzer) and he's well and truly flaked out in his bed!!
Have a good week everyone and i'll catch up on everyone's activities next weekend.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......1
