Quick post to say that i've updated my goals on the 1st post for the next 8 months to reflect where i am currently at. Specifically the new ones are:
    • Aug 2016 - 1st 31 day month with less than £200 interest
    • Aug 2016 - £1 reduction in daily interest since diary began so under £6.41
    • Oct 2016 - Balance below £114,500
    • Dec 2016 - Balance below £112,000
    • Feb 2016 - Balance below £109,000

This will take us to the end of our current 2yr fix and should we succeed a net reduction of £27k during that mortgage fix deal.

Item sold for £66, so really pleased with that. Continuing the eBay theme I listed a further 11 items! So in total we have 71 lists on the go!

A couple of days MSE inactivity in SJ towers. But I've kept with TT's, and yesterday sent the £7 pot to mortgage. This mirning I've sent 42p so off and running for the week.

I gave some mortgage advice to one of Mrs SJ friends on Friday so she's obviously been spreading the gospel and is as committed as me! They were on 4.95% SVR with a59% LTV, which is a nice reminder of how things can end up if we don't keep our eye on things.

Not much planned this week and just hitting the mid month financials slump. I have opened my M&S current account and will start the switch this week.

As for eBay, 6 items sold, and all relisted for a variety of end points this weekend.

Morning Jimmy, sounds like a lot of MSE activity to me even in the mid month financial slump. You have inspired me to start e Baying again and I used the scheduling function to start 10 items last night while we are away. Woke up to 2 bids this morning :j
