Started the day with a crisp 45p TT, and pleased to say current account is all healthy for 1 day! Paying out day is tomorrow so it'll look anemic again by Friday.

DS1 is still rotten ill and as he's not used to being poorly (I was starting to think he as like Bruce Willis in unbreakable but a bit more compact and with hair), he doesn't know what to do with himself. He was that bad yesterday he even put his tablet down before we had to say 'times up'!

Spent sometime in the garden last night and am very pleased with my £25 patio grouting job. We're not particularly green fingered so I left all our patio pots out for mother in law to spot. Sure enough she saw them and 48hrs later miraculously they've been filled!

  • I like your gardening plan, could you send your MiL this way please? I'm not particularly green fingered either so gardening is a bit sporadic with varied results! Great news on the next bracket too :j

A question for you! I already have Halifax, co-op, recently closed m and s, where can I switch my co-op purely for the bonus. Is first direct my only option?

Great work on the OPs on such a sight month for you and I bow to your eBay skills. I hate eBay sooooo much!

I've just done Yorkshire bank for £150. And I need to find another!

Financials this morning mainly involved a big sigh at all the direct debits that have leeched money from our account. I did have £5.57 interest in my first tesco account so I dispatched that to the mortgage and my monthly OP's before the regular ones are now at £204.81, so wel on track for a £720 month of op's. My last effort this morning was the regular TT which was 20p.

Tonight I may have a look at my next switch victim, though I'm not sure there's many left!

Wow productive day today! Sport toddlers with DS2 this morning, then I re-fixed the gutters after we noticed a previously unseen 2nd leak! I then cleaned out the garage and conservatory gutters before washing all the gutters and facias. The conservatory is a pain, far too much white stuff! Followed that up with cleaning 3 bedrooms and half tidying the kitchen& conservatory.

Only problem is the living room is still a tip!

    Accounts posting day tomorrow :j

Accounts posting will be delayed till tomorrow. Long day at work, on my feet and in the sun. Followed up with going out for 2hrs with the boys, on my feet and in the sun! So I'm shattered!

OP'd my weekly TT pot of £3.83 this morning. Nothing else happening! Gonna catch up on diaries in bed later.
