With o/p included I'm paying 51% to my mortgage, but only committed to 33%, and 12.5% goes on council tax, and I have a very low wage :( then I have the bills, savings etc - all I can say is thank goodness for surveys, cashback and the bay :)
Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's

Off and running with TT,s for the week with a whole £1 this morning. Now begins the official mid month financial slump for the next 9 days. Add to that we have £9 in the bank! Food and petrol are accounted for so its just no fun times!

I find once you're in single figures it's psychologically easier! You might find yourself overpaying that £9 once payday arrives.

I do love a challenge however i haven't factored in my daily TT's. Now figuring that i wont be spending any money that should give me a tidy account balance each day. Today i TT'd £1 to reduce my balance to £8! Factoring in days till payday i should end up with £1 left! Which i will definitely OP!

Well I TT'd £1 this morning to take balance down to £7, however I'm going to definitely fail! Tomorrow our pooch is booked in for his haircut and Mrs SJ is booked in for her nails done.

I'm can't really work out where we've gone wrong this month either! It's no big drama as we'll end up about £50 overdrawn, but there's no fees on that. On the other side of things our everyday cc card is lower than usual at this stage of the month so I'm sure we'll make it up.

Just goes to show that no matter how planned you think you are, you can easily come unstuck!
