I find once you're in single figures it's psychologically easier! You might find yourself overpaying that £9 once payday arrives.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Cath that sounds like a challenge to me...!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

I do love a challenge however i haven't factored in my daily TT's. Now figuring that i wont be spending any money that should give me a tidy account balance each day. Today i TT'd £1 to reduce my balance to £8! Factoring in days till payday i should end up with £1 left! Which i will definitely OP!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Well I TT'd £1 this morning to take balance down to £7, however I'm going to definitely fail! Tomorrow our pooch is booked in for his haircut and Mrs SJ is booked in for her nails done.
I'm can't really work out where we've gone wrong this month either! It's no big drama as we'll end up about £50 overdrawn, but there's no fees on that. On the other side of things our everyday cc card is lower than usual at this stage of the month so I'm sure we'll make it up.
Just goes to show that no matter how planned you think you are, you can easily come unstuck!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
You are not on your own having a tight month Jimmy - I am waiting for some expenses from work to make our current account solvent again and we still have until the 31st to go until payday.... May is a.blimmin long month0
