I know what you mean. I see those tesco delivery drivers snoozing on our estate in between time slots and I think I could do that for a bit, and I wouldn't mind evenings and weekends listening to cricket on the radio!!
Or maybe delivering for a chemists!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

£15 of Halifax rewards received and duly sent to the mortgage account! I really enjoy this £15 per month off Halifax, it's perhaps my favourite OP as its totally free £180 per year off the mortgage balance.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Very little happening money wise which us both a bad thing and a good thing!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Managed to TT another £1 this morning. So far spending in Feb has been extremely minimal which is great and needed after a load of family birthdays in Jan. Mrs SJ gets paid on Friday which is always nice to see the account balance shoot up. Mrs SJ Is paid every 4th Friday and it can make keeping track a little tricky as the pay date changes so much over the year.
Tomorrow I will finally be closing the Santander CC card having paid the final Christmas bill. I only kept the card going for the cash back. We're moving back to the tesco card to claim the points for next Christmas instead.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
I've got another 2 months of free S123 CC, then I too will be closing and going elsewhere. Most likely same as you, for the Tosco points. I'm also coming up to the time where I'll be closing my ordinary 123 account too - I can earn better cashback from Notwest current account even with their £3 fee.0

We're ditching our S123 CC as well (annual fee renews in May). We've gotten a good amount of money out of it, but not enough (in amount or regularity) to warrant the fee hike.0

oh and on the holifax account, don't know why but they've let me have 2 of the reward accounts, both in my sole name, so I get £10 a month from that
unfortunately OH doesn't pass their checks, otherwise I'd have one for him and joint one too and double it!
