I looked at g plan. It's old fashioned and expensive for me.

Is ikea leather nasty
I think so, we had some leather poang chairs. The leather cracked and stretched very quickly. But I dislike the coated shiny leather anyway.0 -
I can't stand the feel of leather against my skin. It's hot and sticky in warm weather.0

I considered blinds but I want cosey and homely.
Do you think your wood floor and wood blinds are too...woody. .and does your home feel cold (emotionally) as a result of these AND leather sofa, or have you gone for the pristine show home look
I'm a bit of a minimalist fan "less is more" - my ideal home would have raw concrete walls like the house in "grand designs" but the OH might not be so keen

Similar situation. New house. Want leather sofas. OH wants fabric. After looking around it seems like fabric sofas are the new "in" thing fashion.
Personally prefer leather but have found a great fabric one. Main issue for me is comfort and support. I hate sofas where you sink and can't easily get out of.0
