Sussex Security Solutions - Contractual Payment Charge

Ok so i was having trouble parking for work and i was going to be late so i parked in a residential parking area, there was no outlined bays for anyone particular and its always very empty, i was parked for just 6 hours, and i received a contractual payment charge of £100 for not displaying a valid permit, please help, i cant afford to pay this.
I had looked on cars already parked there and they didnt seem to display a permit so i thought it would be ok
I have read loads of different forums that say to ignore this but also read loads of forums where people have been summoned to court and have had to pay out more
Any information or advice i am very grateful for
Thanks!!!

The wording on SSS's signs would be useful. In previous cases their charges say one thing but their signs say something rather different. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
SS Solutions ?
What a name, do they send a Final Solution letter ?I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
As this is a contractual charge it is fully accountable for vat. Do they mention vat in their paperwork? If not read this.

Other cars parked there may well not be showing permits as they may belong to owners of flats who have contracted out of the PPCs money making scam.
In any event, the PPC are unable to enter into a contract with you are you were a trespasser on private land, although the land owner could in theory make a claim against you for damages for trespass. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
