I find that you may get better success in having people offering to use "their discretion" to help you if you didn't (or your sister) didn't ask them too. For example, in my job I have the ability to offer people an appointment of virtually any time to suit them, even though it may not be convenient to me. If they are nice, struggling to make others appointment due to work or whatever then "at my discretion" I will offer them a tiime of their choice. If anyone came in and TOLD ME I had the ability to offer them whatever, at my discretion, then I would deny all knowledge and stick to our official policy. Someone coming in and telling me my job, however polietly, would TOTALLY rub me up the wrong way.0

They've restricted the items you can take back as well. It's not surprising really, the way people used to buy from Argos to try something out and then take it back and go somewhere cheaper...0 -

Why do you assume people do the same job for years? In retail most people move on.
I've just read your other posts. You're one of those people who fascinate me. You don't seem to know many things that are common knowledge through just having a normal working life with knowing the basics of how large companies/organisations/or indeed how the world in general works. So out of interest, what is it you do?0 -
