Do you type them manually or use a form filler eg RoboForm.
  • robo form but even searching for them through here takes time up as well plus i start reading all the info bout the comp etc

Hi, I do not really understand what you mean by:

searching for them through here takes time

They are all listed on here for you, with often lots of terms & exclusions highlighted.
Entering a comp via here & using RoboForm takes me a couple of seconds, if there are no software glitches.
I then use the MSE functionality, ie the green tick & the Thanks button, and just move on & forget about the comp.
I also often use the link below to spot comps that I may have missed that are popular:

    Today's most popular
  • sometimes i think something looks good and then decide i dont want to enter it once ive clicked, i dont know why but it seems to be really time consuming and addictive lol..
but its not making me feel v positive

I think you really just have to see it as a hobby/pastime/diversion as focussing on the wins, or lack of them, is not a good way to be, in my view.

I just enter & forget. I do not count entries or track them in any way, other than via the MSE functionality.

It is then a great surprise when an unexpected win arrives, often just turning up on the doorstep with no warning.

I'll be honest & say that I'm not sure.
I started comping in early 2008 via Prizefinder.
I did not know of RoboForm & entered forms manually. I therefore probably only entered about twenty comps per day.
Within a few months I won a five night trip to New York.
This spurred me on & I found MSE comps & here we are a few years later.
In the interim I have won so many things via MSE Comps. These include a week in Canada, cases of win, cash, clothes, footwear plus homes furnishings & electronics.

With respect to those who disagree (and think you have to enjoy it) I have had to accept that entering competitions on an industrial scale is hard work and exceedingly boring, even when using auto form filling!

The exciting bit is when I win something worthwhile and the occasional mystery package arriving through the post. :)
    Still cracking on....
Wins in 2019: 28 prizes realised value £278:eek:
Wins in 2018: 59 prizes realised value £1,818:coffee:
Wins in 2017: 53 prizes realised value £2,556:j
Wins in 2016: 51 prizes realised value £790
Wins in 2015: 81 prizes realised value £2,065

You certainly have to have the right mindset for it and be able to work through the months when you do not win anything

But on the flipside it being quite a tedious process at times means that not as many stick at it for a long time :D

Like Weeowens i was lucky I got a holiday early on and have not looked back from that
July 2015 Wins- Shaun The Sheep Goody Bag, 4x Books

    Year to date: £786

    Total to date ( Since 2008 ) = £37,345
