Find ways of doing it that help you.
For example, I couldn't just click on a comp and then have to press the back button and then find where I am again.
I find it much easier holding the shift key then clicking on the comp to open it in a new window. When I'm done, I just Ctrl+W to shut the page down again. Also, hover over them with your mouse to see what it says about each comp to save you opening and closing each one to read it.
I enter hundreds a week (maybe even into four figures on a good week/including busy last day of month when doing them in date order) and have a small win once a month (maybe £50-ish on average, something maybe worth £100, sometimes a fiver) and a roughly one or two bigger wins (worth £500-ish) a couple of times a year I'd say.
I have won some weekend breaks in the UK but never won a holiday despite searching for them and entering everything I fancy - and I do enter a lot! Not even won a weekend abroad.
Would certainly say don't get your hopes up, but I wish you the best of luck

i find it very strange how some users are applauded, even encouraged, to [STRIKE]be mean to others[/STRIKE] speak their minds .... but some users are lambasted for it.0

That's abit harsh. I know a lot of people on here work/ are retired.
I work full time as a financial merchandiser and this is just a way to unwind from a stressful day at the office. I suffer with several long term health conditions and have been told by the doctors to go on the sick for abit but I said no as working gives me something to focus on
iam sure most people/ compers or not would think the same
lots of love and luck to everyone
xx:j First prizes back into comping after a break - romantic break to 2 to Venice/ Paris or Rome with romantic trip and a 42 inch TV and blu Ray amazing !

I've been comping on and off since 2006 or so and sometimes get a bit jaded with it all. When that happens I try to shake it up a little - eg. concentrating on getting a good entry in for a creative comp rather than spending that time on entering the usual form fillers. Or I try and find a new avenue for comps, like trying out pinterest comps or searching for a specific item I want to win. It just makes it feel a bit more of a challenge for me.
I love MSE but lately I've been using prizefinder a lot - it speaks to the OCD side of me, being able to see that I've cleared pages and pages of comps.

Hi
I don't post on here too often. Just wanted to say that you have to look at comping as a hobby and what you win on top is great. I comp whilst doing other things and have a timetable into my day of comping.
I do a couple of hours a day. Maybe once or twice a week 3 hours. I enter alot including the click to win. I am also a full member of a comp club.
i enjoy it. I enjoy the wins. Alot are smaller however into my 3rd year now and it is sub conscious way of life. I up to now have won 1 large prize per year. 1st year was £1000 Morison's vouchers. Last year was a holiday which we go on this September.
I also play music at the back if there is nothing on TV. You get into a routine with it and find your own ways over time. You got to want to do it.
We all have times of feeling ugh with it. I take a few days off then and go back to it after a few days.
Plenty of ways to make a little extra. This like anything is hard work0
