I was left with a dusty old sunbed (which we swapped for a neglected rabbit to save him from his crazy owners...long story) and cut out S Club 7 heads superglued to the bedroom door.0

Twenty years ago our first home was a new build bungalow (£23,650 wish I'd bought 3
) and after we had been in short time there was a funny smell in the bathroom. We bleached, cleaned even got a hosepipe down the bath plughole and still it wouldn't go.
In the end I took the bath panel off and what did I find? Among the fag ends one of the builders had left a Sunblest bread bag in there with the remains of his mouldy tuna sandwich!0 -
One year ago today we collected the keys our house...as first time buyers we were so excited.
Right up until we started walking up to the front door and noticed the Dyson vacuum cleaner wedged in the hedge....the inch thick dog hair covering the carpet, the urine (we assume the dogs but still not convinced lol.) in the kitchen and the 8 inch deep hole in the utility room again with a very strong aroma of urine and various other pieces of junk scattered across the back garden.
Still had to chuckle to myself the other day as when we cleaned the cupboards out before we started the building work i found numerous cans of paint,a few unopened....never got round to using the unopened ones so took them to Focus where i assumed they would have come from and was told i had just under £50 to spend against the paint i took back, nice little suprise.lol0 -
After we moved in, we found a bunch of letters from some guy called jimmy in walton prison promising to "come round and see yer" once he'd got out of prison.

A used syringe under the loose bit of boarding in the loft room which I think had been used as the 'den' during the all weekend parties. That was before the house got reposessed after the drug raids.
Funny thing was though, with it was a table tennis bat. Am I being naive in saying I have no idea what the connection is with these two objects?0 -
We were left a commode once. That was nice.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

In the loft we found some old Church tracts from about the 1920s. They were full of hellfire and damnation type of stuff and quite frightened me. I got rid of them PDQ.
Also, dog wee sodden carpets.:o:snow_grin"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow........":snow_grin0
