POPLA adjourn cases on ParkingEye's request

so , PE are not able to offer an alternate dispute resolution ?

Well, its an adjournment, so they are still offering ADR, just delayed ADR.

We should expect POPLA to dance to ParkingEye's tune. This is not the first time - remember the witness statements?

A civil claim being in the court of appeal is not good reason.

correct , the agreement set up by the government was that a PPC had to be a member of an approved ATA , the BPA in this case set rules that PPCs have to abide by to be members , one of which is they have to offer an independent resolution system

PE are saying they don,t want popla to act , will issue no more POPLA codes , and asked that all codes are on hold.

they "might" just get away with the "on hold" ones , but refusing to issue a code is against BPA rules.

devil and the deep blue sea , BPA cannot afford to boot PE out ,

How can the bpa be doing what they were told to do by the government?

anyone getting a PE letter , ask for a popla code , and re ask , then complain like hell ,

Why not? If it's a good enough reason for a circuit or district judge in county court I see no logical reason it is not a good enough reason for POPLA. Why shouldn't they wait until the law in this area is elucidated?

As for Parking Eye refusing to issue POPLA codes, where has it been said that they are doing that? All that has happened is that a number of cases already at POPLA have been adjourned pending the outcome of Parking Eye v Beavis.

no over the last few weeks reports have been coming in that PE are not actually giving codes out and stalling people. they are obligated to give a code after refusing an appeal.

this is a level 4 sanction by the BPA resulting in 5 sanction points is this is proved to be "frequently"

PE are indeed refusing appeals without giving out a POPLA code. No idea why. Perhaps they accidentally started using the wrong template letter.

The BPA are aware and investigating.

However, I expect ParkingEye to whip out their get-out-of-jail free card and escape without any sanctions.
