UKIP political mail

I wrote to UKIP asking them to remove all my personal details from their databases and cease sending promotional literature to me (along with an explanation of why they are wasting their money trying to win my vote). The response I got was that they didn't store my details but mailings were sent using the unedited version of the electoral register which they were entitled to do and there was nothing I could do about it.
If any freepost or prepaid UKIP envelopes land on my doormat they will be filled with whatever junk mail is at hand and posted so they have to pay for itCommon sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

Not strictly correct.
You can contact your local electoral registration officer:
https://www.registertovote.service.gov.uk/register-to-vote/local-authority/lookup
and ask them to remove your details from the open register.
This won't totally stop unwanted mail and it will take a while before it has any effect but it's worth doing.0 -
I remember a few months back the window cleaner knocked on my door to ask for the money owed. I went to get it, came back and then she started going on about immigration and Asian people. I told her to go away and shut the door. I thought it was just incredibly random but then I looked down at the floor and I had a BNP leaflet on the floor which someone must have put through my door.
She must have thought I was a BNP supporter!
So I don't like receiving party leaflets as people associate you with the party!
Well, at least your window cleaner hasn't swallowed all of the multiculti lies.0 -

What amuses me about UKIP is they're appealing to ex pats (They don't call them immigrants) to make sure they vote in the UK elections.
Three things.
a) Is this not two faced.
b) How come they're ex pats and not migrants or immigrants
c) What do these Ex Pats think will happen if they vote for UKIP and UKIP do what they're promising and take us out of Europe. Do they not realise Spain, France and Italy etc will send them back to the UK?0 -

If we're not members of Europe why would other countries allow UK citizens the current freedom of movement if we no longer the same for their members?0
