  • It's quite easy to measure for blinds... Seriously if I can measure and order correctly 4 different sizes for windows/doors in a conservatory anyone can do it. It shows you when you order how to measure etc just make sure you double check :)

I bought some from Ikea there around 4cm too wide... he insists that they'll look stupid on the outside of the window, and should be exact.

So I could cut them down and try and fit them, it's just if I'll screw it up again

You can buy gadgets thats trace the wires and think they are reasonable

Probably not the best way to do it, but we check for switches/plugpoints and if we are working near them we simply take them off the wall and check which way the wire goes :D

Could you not just put them somewhere else?

Thanks mimi, just saw your post. No union at work as far as I know, just HR but they can be as bad as the management. I think he needs to get out of there so we are on lookout for something else for him. He goes to college in the evenings so has enough on his plate without them making him more stressed. I thought the days of bullying bosses were long gone :( They know he has UC and he has a better sickness record than any member of staff there as he insists on just working through any pain and discomfort. He may as well not bother though as it's not appreciated and makes him worse in the long run. Fingers crossed he finds another job soon x

    Hi Strewth

I have posted this before If you have house insurance with family legal protection they usually offer free advice on all different aspects of the law

I have been using them a lot over the last few weeks and they always come up a an angle that I can use Dont imagine that I will win but at least I am putting my side of the bullying tactics across

You have a lot on your plate so have a hug too
