Hi Evageline, the cncf is 375g and has a free spoon logo on the front of the box. hth

Edit: Cereal. I've been getting the nutrigrain rasin breakfast bakes along with 2 different flavours of biscuit moments v Tosco. Cost £3 + £2.38 but less fillers needed and approx £3.40 apg. If prices are still correct. Hope this makes sense

    This might make more sense

to compare vs 3 for £3 in T.. very clever...
    try writing it down...
    ETA:
    expected apg comparison A v T
    moments 1.98 1
    moments 1.98 1
    invisible CNCF
    bakes 2.38 1

    pay 3 + 2.38 = 5.38, get 3.64 apg back

Or you can just do the 3 for £3 v Morribobs taking out the bakes for roughly £2.20 return. I like the bakes though :)

Just done a "Normal" shop, no APG expected as many things are on promotion.

Its not very money saving I know, but I am off tomorrow to buy £1170's worth of Amazon and 3V Vouchers from M's tomorrow. Then I will fill the car and 2 x 20 ltr Diesel Cans up (100 Ltrs) and it will only cost 90p!

The vouchers just sit on account until needed, normally nappies and gadgets :D

    Shame the £15 off £80 voucher won't work with GC's :(

Careful though, in my main store they now have some boxes without the spoons promo. on them.

They are just "Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes". In other words, the 'normal' cereal (of a type that you know I like:D) rather than cereal bars. It is a 'small' 375g box. It is on the aisle ends - I know we often don't look in those places as they are usually items that are only worth buying elsewhere in order to compare back:rotfl:, as they are the store's 'best offers' (that is the offers that are best for them) that are picked up on impulse as people slow their trolleys round the bends and normally make the stores quite a lot of money from volume sales or, maybe more to the point, manufacturers often pay the store to place the goods in such a prominent position.

It may not be available in all main stores (I don't think). They are not in my smaller main store, unless I've not looked there properly but then...no need... as they are available in my larger main store. They are only on the aisle ends there, together with some further stock of Coco Pops bars, Frosties bars, Rice Krispies bars and Special K Moments:rotfl: - I wish the people on my wombles would pick up a couple of those and a pack of Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes:rotfl:. So, check the gondola ends that we normally avoid as normally only contain 'offers' that lose out!!

The CNCF were OOS for someone earlier in the week. However, they were not literally OOS for A, as they have been available throughout for me in my larger main store.

"Researchers studying buying patterns in an English supermarket found that placing products on the ends of aisles was associated with increased sales."
    http://www.nhs.uk/news/2014/03March/Pages/Alcohol-at-end-of-aisles-linked-to-boosted-sales.aspx

"An estimated 30% of supermarket sales come from aisle-ends...".
    http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0277953614001361

My own comment: That's an absolutely stunning amount when you consider that in the context of the thousands of items in stores! They're often promotions that lose out badly on the store's own price promise - in fact I've often used the aisle ends to identify products that should be bought at the competitors!

Meanwhile, on my womble, vs M:

We know how to get Coco Pops bars cheaper!:rotfl:
They pay full price increase on SP Yogs to A:rotfl::rotfl:. And also pay too much on Kinder eggs and on SP cereal bars (were 40p RTC, but even that more expensive than Coco Pops bars bought in the right way;)).:rotfl:
