Buying a Ford Fiesta

Now for the hard part - they won't negotiate the price as its the lowest they can go. They also won't budge on the vehicle admin fee which includes status checks etc.
They know you like the car, they know you want the car, you had them deliver it to your local dealer. You are in a fairly weak bargaining position.
You need to leave it a day or two then go back and say something like " i am sorry but £7000 (or whatever number you feel is good value) is all i can afford and that is including the tax, admin fees and a full tank of petrol and you were hoping to get some free car mats thrown in"
If they won't budge you have to be prepared to walk away and wait for them to give you a call. They may not call!0 -
Funny you should say that as this is another I've had my eye on: http://www.arnoldclark.com/used-cars/ford/fiesta/1.4-zetec-5dr-auto/2011-(11)/ref/arnax-u-22599/
Slightly older (11 reg) but done 33,000 miles, yet roughly £400 + cheaper (also assuming that Arnold Clark don't do a stupid admin fee).0
