Mortgage Refeered HELP

That's interesting, mine doesn't - it's quite clearly under a section for what I assume are "soft" searches. There's nothing really to expand as it's already expanded and the only useful bit of information is the "generic identity". No mention of mortgage amount on either Experian or Equifax. Experian also says there have been no new searches (so presumably credit searches) in the last six months.
Having said that, this is just for an Agreement in Principle through the broker (although the broker said they did a full credit search, presumably through Equifax) and not the actual application which will happen in the next few weeks.0 -
There's a difference between applying via MTE which lizard's broker has done and stuff done on the NatWest website.
I don't now if a different CRA is used, but TBH no amount of speculation is going to answer if NatWest are going to lend on a case with recent PDL activity, or not.
It's just a sit and wait with everything crossed situation.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. That explains it your AIP is a soft search with NW, when they do a full one it will do both like mine it seems as I also have the soft ones from when I done AIP0

Very true King Street it's just awful waiting, thanks for all your words of wisdom !! Hopefully we find out tmz0 -
Good luck! Although I've not got PDL on mine, there's a few things I'm a bit nervous about too even though my broker says even with those things it should be okay! Until that offer is in my hands, I'm going to sweat.0

I know it's such a stressful time, everything else about me and my partner is good just the fact we have PDL from just under a year ago and we didn't even need was just gullible enough to believe it would do us good for credit scores.0

Mine was a simple one-off mistake because I briefly lost track of spending early December (Christmas gifts..) on a credit card and the interest charge pushed me over the limit by a very small amount. I fixed it within two days when I realised, and the full balance paid off, but still. The fact remains I exceeded my credit limit. There's no default there, nor was I fined but they'll see it as of course it was the statement balance for that month. So angry at myself over it as I'm normally so careful! Everything else is close enough to perfect unless you believe Daily Mail horror stories about them scrutinising which supermarket you shop in or choice of hairstyle and associated costs etc!!
Hoping we'll be put out of our misery within the next two weeks given other posts that seem to suggest that sort of timescale from full application, which was sent off yesterday by our broker.
No wonder you are kicking yourselves - how incredibly frustrating when you thought you were doing the right thing.0 -
Does anyone know if they would do a survey on the property before decline or would they just not bother ?0

Nope. Normally case is underwritten before instruction to surveyor to do valuation.I am a mortgage broker.
