Hi guys,
dropped a bit of a clanger today, parked in a small shopping centre car park policed by PPs ltd and like a plonker completely forgot to pay when I realised I pooped back and bought a ticket but when I got to my car had a Parking charge notice already on the car (Gutted) £60 if I pay in next 14 days otherwise £100 pounds.
This as you can imagine ended my shopping trip for kids shoes as quite a pricey ticket.
However I have been reading and received advice from people saying not to pay as they will send to debt collectors and then give up as rarely they go to court
any advice guys I was away from the car for about 20 mins when I realised and went back even have ticket I purchased my own fault though I know?
cheers

Hi mate I have read this but unsure whether I have grounds for appeal as I didn't pay and display so really only option I believe is to either pay up or ignore was wondering whether anyone had encountered these and likelihood of them taking me to small claims or just paying really
thanks in advance0 -
keep hold of that ticket you bought, it would prove honesty and no loss to the landowner or the PPC
if its ever needed apart from court, only give copies , scans or photos , never the original
now read that NEWBIES sticky thread
nobody can tell you if the PPC may go to court in the next 6 years
the answer is , MAYBE
your grounds for appeal are in that NEWBIES thread
not a gpeol
no contract
poor signage
etc etc
there are 2 PPS listed on the BPA site, none on the IPC site afaik
valley is not on either
valley enforcement seems to have been dissolved in 2011
https://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/valley-enforcement
in your case, wait for the NTK, which may never arrive if they are not in the BPA or the IPC0 -
thanks guys so I will just send coupon mads letter out to them is it worth me adding in that I paid when I realised or and include a copy of my ticket or just send the pre format letter out alone?
typical valley out of business but pps to tight to change the ticket rolls lol0 -
please wait till you get a notice to keeper thru the door , chances are you won,t as
a: they are not a recognised parking company
b: the company seems to be dissolved ,
all google searches for this mob , go back to 2008/2011
IF they do reply in a few weeks please return , giving us the full info of the company and its reg No
PS: the company name and address will be on that bog roll you have there , can you supply the full name , address phone no etc etc
cheers
edit , you can,t issue a invoice in an old dissolved name , major jail time ,
details needed please0 -
DO NOT CONTACT THEM
as stated in the NEWBIES sticky thread, WAIT FOR THE NTK
it may not arrive if they are not in the BPA or the IPC
they are waiting for people (fools) to fall into their trap in contacting them , then they get the drivers details, trap is sprung
if you are going to contact anyone, make it the landowner and demand a cancellation, but do not mention who was driving AT ALL !0 -
coincidence

premier parking = Registered Office:
