yey finally had the mortgage accepted, they have took the miney out for the valuation. Now to wait for them to do that. Sellers want to be complete by april 2nd, its going to be tight

Good news, well done! We've been told we'll hear Friday or Monday, so two weeks from full application.

Good news Credfern and good luck. We had our valuation this morning. The surveyor said it would be sent to natwest this afternoon and they will 'process' the report in 48 hours. I reckon they will probably retain 5k as our garage roof is knackered but hopefully will hear something by end of the week.

Well just been told the valuation will be carried out next monday, which then leaves a week and a couple of days until the date they want to complete, really cant see it happening. How long after should it take for them to offer, does anyone with any experience know whether we are likely to be able to complete in time

My broker told me 5 working days from valuation date for the report to be processed and then if no problems they will offer within 48 hours. However -the surveyor yesterday said to me it should be much quicker than that. Suppose if there are any problems- further delays.

our valuation is being done by connells, they are doing a home buyer report aswell. Anyone have any experience with these

I am finding this thread so useful. We are first time buyers and we have had our AIP on Monday with Natwest via a broker. What should be an exciting time I'm currently full of nerves until I get that final offer. During your AIP offer did you have a soft credit search? As looking on mine it appears to show quite significantly in my credit file?

Spoke to broker yesterday who informed the house was valued at the estimate/ asking price shich is fab. The report had not been processed by the underwriters yet so still not 100% certain it is satisfactory with not money retained by the lender. (our last application fell through due to a 5k retention on the property). Hopefully we will have some sort of offer before the weekend. Princessladona - by the way -they did 2 credit searches on me and neither looked in any way soft. Good luck.

well we wont be able to complete for easter things have ended up more confusing then they first were so will take longer than originally expected

Princessladonna on my partners experian report we had an alert to say natwest had credit checked him that was when we did the Decision in principle, the full application is now through but nothing else has appeared yet.
I only have the noddle account set up but when looking at who has searched me nothing is showing yet from natwest... im going to go back on and look now

Now we are at full application there is nothing showing besides the initial soft DIP search on Experian. Equifax shows a hard search from the DIP but only a soft search due to the application. We're not at the end yet though, so there's still time for more searches.
