I certainly could, but I only buy the stuff mentioned(no padding out), so that would put me 30p in credit........but i will tonight..

I usually do quite a few shops in a short space of time, and dont usually have time to shop for other stuff, I'm usually straight in, straight out, but yes it does look sensible to spend another 30p, use another Colgate, and get it all for nothing....cheers.......although if its true what i read that the Elvive glitch is fixed then i will have to rethink my combinations.

Just rethought it...Use the £1 Children's vitamin coupon with my combo as well, and that should balance it out, if the glitch is fixed.

    I'll let you know later.

Went out as mentioned.....First store didn't have the £2.12 Haliborange so took 2 of the bottles at £3.99.

Well, Elvive glitch didn't work.....I knew it wouldn't as they'd reduced the price of the anti dandruff to £2.98....which means no need for the glitch. Worked out coupons to compensate for this........

    2 x Elvive £5.96
    2 x Colgate £4.56
    2 x Haliborange bottles £7.98
    2 Soluble Aspirin 26p

    total=£18.76

    Elvive bogof £2.98
    Colgate bogof £2.28
    Haliborange bogof £3.99

    total bogof £9.25
    total to pay £9.51

    Coupons used
    £2.50 HB
    £2 HC
    2x £1 HC
    £1 children's vits
    2 x 40p Colgate

    Coupons refused
    2x £1 HB

    which meant £1.21 to pay?????????

Don't understand why the till rejected the HB ones(well at least one of them)

anyway, not to be outdone, decided to go to a store 12 miles away to see if glitch worked there. Spurred on by a pm from kronen, relayed to my mobile, i decided to go for the old combination, of the Haliborange tablets

    So did this 4 times

    2 x Elvive £5.96
    2 x Colgate £4.56
    4 x Haliborange tablets £8 48

    total=£19

    Elvive bogof £2.98
    Colgate bogof £2.28
    Haliborange bogof £4.24

    total bogof £9.50
    total to pay £9.50

    Coupons used
    £2.50 HB
    £2 HC
    2 x £1 HB
    2x £1 HC
    £1 children's vits

    total coupons used £9.50

Total after coupons...precisely nothing, 0p, zilch, zero

Cashier was over the moon, told him at these prices i think i should get some more...why not he said.....so i did.

4 free transactions...................Thanks kronen for that PM.

Not to be put off by first transaction, went back to first store, but felt i had been spotted(actually...i knew i had been spotted) so walked out empty handed, hopefully to coupon there another day.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

My £1 HB's got rejected twice too - I just asked them to try them a second time and they went through fine.

Yes you can, if you have another quit pack £1.25 of pink £1 you could use them too, so could give you money off your other shopping. Also noticed yesterday that the head bodyspray stuff is now being sold in bigger 200ml cans, they were silly enough to leave smaller cans out too, but why would you get small er when the larger are the same price ?

I have been doing a shop or sometimes two shops a day since the H&B came out.I've had the occasional SA refusing coupons but in the main it has been very successful and I have a big stash at home which has cost just pennies per shop. Not yesterday though ! I started off at Brooklands and twice returned things to customer services because all but 1 of my coupons was rejected. Then I drove to Addlestone and did the same ,only to find the same thing happened. It's difficult to justify a refund when you want to return all the items you bought. So, yesterday I had to buy items which I have loads of already. I must be being greedy ! Why oh why do I keep going back for more when I don't need anything? Perhaps I need to get a life !
