Ok, admit it, who was in Crewe this afternoon? I only went to get some burgers for dinner, house full of lads to feed, no health and beauty shopping today because the H and B coupons gettting low and there were none of the nice scanners on the tills so I found a very young looking lad, at a rough guess he looked about 12.
The lady in front of me had a trolley load plus lots of the same toiletry stuff in the middle of her shop so I began to wonder about it.
Then it was time for her to pay and out came the brown envlelope and a vast assortment of coupons including the h and B ones and 50 pointers, (all jumbled up rather than in strick order like my coupons are, biggest first and extra points coupons all given at the very end) and the lad scanned away, some beeped, the wretched £1 toiletry ones as usual, even a internet printed one. For once I had my glasses on so i could see what I was going on! Then at the end the lady also found in her purse a double pointer from a clubcard statement mailing but that one would not scan.
I didnt see what her total was to start with but it came down to £17 - I think the beeping £1 coupons must have thrown the total off.
There are no H and B coupons around here so I dont know wether she was local but she did have some of the coupons I got at the local cheese show.
Then it was my turn and I was so wishing I had also got £10 of toiletiries but the lad took all my coupons and my shopping came to 49p :rotfl:

PS I did wonder about finding the lady in the car park but it seemed a bit mad and also the place is covered in CCTV cameras!“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. How much clubcard points are needed for an all inclusive family holiday? I think this might be what I am going to aim for but as my two youngest are 15 and 17 I think most hoilday firms class them as adults.
We had a barge hoilday once and it was very relaxing, OH refuses to go again complaining about the work involved even though we have two teenage lads to run alongside, tie up and work locks etc. Also says its miserable if it rains and you are steering. I already have sufficent points for a Drifters hoilday but cant persude OH to relent“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Yes I realised later it looked like an operator error............Couponing....."every little hurts"

Might have to do 2 or 3 shops:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
The dilema is do I use the credit I get to buy more goodies or do I keep it
You keep it......its u thats the moneysaver, not your works!!!!Couponing....."every little hurts"

I might have to give up actually! Made two c*ck ups today!
Purchased
Detox box of 12 sachets £9.45
2 x Kids vits £2.97 BOGOF
3 x Dextrosol energy sweets 3 for £1
= £13.42 (£16.39 before discounts)
Used: 2 x £2.00 QK Healthcare, 2 x £1.00 Healthcare and 1 x £1.00 kids vits = £6.42. I forgot to use the £2 off the Detox thing which was the whole point of buying it (well as well as the benefits of the actual product!! So I went to CS and said I'd forgotton to use it, and she was fine, didn't even look at the receipt! She did the same for the energy sweets, I return 9 packs and got my £3 back (as I'd overspent because of ANOTHER mess up at the weekend!)
THEN
I did 2nd shop, purchased:
6 x Kids vits £2.48 BOGOF (was only suppose to buy 4, but forgot to get rid of the other two which were for shop above)
Total: £7.44
Used: 1 x £2.00, 2 x £1.00 and 2 x £1.00 kids vits so total: £6.00.
Luckily she allowed me to use a total of £4.00 worth of MOC between these two shops.
I feel another refund coming on! LOL.
I have enough HB for two more transactions, will stock up on Aquafresh and carex handwash, which I think is lovely. Hopefully they won't do anymore vouchers for a while as it's given me a bit of a headache today!"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
