TESCO H&B COUPONS - Thread 3 *See First Post for UPDATES*

  • Feels so weird to be getting branded products for cheaper than the value products.

Although 10 shower-gels and 4 loads of toothpastes in my cupboard may be excessive for one person. And i don't actually know anyone who would want the Elvive mousse (only brought the mousse as it was the only way i could get money off rather having to pay for my toileteries- which would never do ;))

Still buy the non toiletry value stuff, or the BOGOFs, as i want to make the free amount Mr T is kindly giving me last as long as possible.

    Todsy I bought -
4 x face wipes at 2.49 on bogof and 37p toothpaste.

    total - 10.33

    Left to pay - 5.35

    I used, 2.50, 1.25 and colgate voucher, 40.

    Left to pay 1.20

Why would the till not accept the 1 HB coupon?
Have had this happen twice this week but not sure why?

The £1.00 h&b are for toiletries, I think that is your answer.

    what is SEL?

how many bottle of nicky clarke did people get at the end? i only manage to get 16. not a record to be proud of.

You've done better than me as I didn't get any due to no SB's probably the only one on here.. I should have sorted some swaps out but happy with the clothes shops I've achieved this weekend along with general h&b, don't think I would have managed anything else.... Also treated the kids to a nice meal at Yates with deals after our clothes shops today... I felt they deserved it & so did I.

Thanks to this thread Tesco are paying me to take away the H&B stuff:rotfl:

Only missing the mouthwash to last me til this time next year:D

Haven't even started on the Wash and Go from last months offer and got two Elvive yesterday to use up too (think a couple of bottles could be car booted as i have a skin-head so a bottle of shampoo lasts ages)

My own shops went brilliantly and ended up with another 6 sets of Nicky Clarke and 4 Macadam. I still had about 10 of the Sb's left though but it was almost 3.30 by then so couldn't be bothered to go back in and buy even more as its not as though we actually need it! plus, I am not impressed at all by the Nicky Clarke, it doesn't look very posh sat on my bathroom shelves but can't argue as it was free anyway :)

lol ! i agree the packaging isnt all that appealing.I am ,however pleased with the results of the NC products.

have been using the volumising ones, and can def see / feel the difference :)
  • Can someone point me in the direction of any threads or give any advice on what to charge in car boot sales for HB products? I think I need to get rid of some of it!
