I set out to do 40 shops but only pulled off 20

u must be supremely confident  and full of energy ;).

did 7 shops in 4 stores trying to finish off SB. each shop included 10ish HB + 8ish HC + daily items, again budget to spend 10ish after bogof coupons etc in each shop.

first store - all went thro fine.

second store - no NC so got McAdam instead. SA called supervisor and internet coupon was rejected, supervisor said it is a photocopy. it is a genuine print off from internet, i never photocopy coupon, it is illegal. but didn't argue, just told her it is an internet download, but it is ok if the store doesn't accept it, use other moc instead, SA scrutinized everything but all went thro at the end.

third store - great shop, clear policy, one of each non identical, all accepted.

fourth store - disaster. did 2 small shops, first shop SA reluctantly accepted one of each type, refused any moc ; second shop, SA pressed red button to call supervisor over, i only gave her 3 coupons. thought maybe i should just ditched the shop and go, but then i would like to know their policy too, so prepare to listen what the supervisor said. SA moaned to supervisor that the till is taking too much money off the shopping and she doesn't want to scan any coupon. supervisor looked at the coupons and said if customer spends enough, the till will accept, if not, the till will reject, it is ok to scan them. grumpy SA still moaning she can't scan these, they r taking too much money off the shopping bla bla bla... for goodness sake, they were only small shops and i was paying more than a tenner for each, of course i want money off my shopping or i won't use coupon, the money doesn't come out from her pension, regardless what the supervisor said, she just kept saying too much money off shopping, finally only accept one of each and no moc. didn't bother to argue, it is fine to have one of each type accepted, shame couldn't use any moc. still lucky, could be worse if supervisor was nasty.

none of the stores have the new bogof teabag, only old ones without any moc; and only one store has elvive mousse, but scans at £2.59.

oh well, u gain some u lose some. a good day overall but won't be doing that for a while. need to do some hibernation..

I keep a few for myself and put them on letters, but the bulk of them I give to my daughters teacher who uses them for homework books :D

I did come across a flaw in my previous mentioned shopping lists & that is the So... Body Spray is £1.59 (not £1.99 as on the BOGOF list on the first page)... so left that combo... Back to the drawing board for free sprays.

The glitch on the Elvive mousse in the red can priced at 0.66p is finished.. unless you find the sel as 0.66p you'll be entitled to dtd.

I've been doing DragonSlayers combo... white tin Elvive styling mousse extra volume 200ml... 4 x £2.59 = £10.36 bogof knocks off £6.96 = £3.40 to pay before coupon usage.

Spurred on by me not bothering with John Freda and the need to get rid of some of my remaining 30 SB's, got to first store at 10am.

25 minutes later I had 6 lots of McA and NC in car, 12 miles to my next store and 20 minutes later another 6 lots in the car.....superb....called in smaller store on way back home and relieved them of a further 3 lots with SB's and 14 Radox(with glitch)

All in all a wonderful 2 hours, and although didn't expect to, got rid of all my SB's which I only picked up 4 days ago, and even thought at one point of not bothering with them, as it was a short space of time to get rid of 50+......but glad i didn't.

Have to keep some of these McA etc, for my mate, who couldn't get any SB's at all.

16 transactions this morning, for a before bogof total of around £390 costing me a mere £3.44.

Picked up some of the elusive Quits as well, at one time i had 4 full boxes of these, never ever thinking i would run out.....but I am.....I will never have enough till end of October.

Pick these Quits up if you see them, as they were supposed to be withdrawn from the shelves on the 14th(i think).
    Couponing....."every little hurts"
