Just had a good shop, bought a Nicky Clarke shampoo @427 and a conditioner @ 428 and a travel size charles w shampoo @ 165 total £1020 bogof took 549 then used 250 sb 250 hb and 2 quits @ 125 leaving me in credit of £279!! also used 3 50 pointers and a 200 points on a h&B spend, going bk tomorrow to do this again. My dd was laughing at me cos i kept saying i love tescos!!

Good and bad today

I wanted to use my last SB coupons.:rolleyes:

Picked up 2 Nicky Clarke and JF sachet.Also a few bits of groceries.
The store was busy so decided to use selfscan:o
The till accepted my £2.50 SB but when I fed it into the slot ,it just kept saying "please insert coupon"
Had to get SA:o who got coupon back out and said "but you haven't spent £10"
"Oh neither I have ,I didn't know it was BOGOF" I said:o (Quickly pocketing other coupons and MOCs;) )
Just void these items please?
SA got in a right fankle trying to void my haircare!

If she had any brains she would have wondered why I would rather use a £2.50 voucher on £10 than get BOGOF:rotfl: :rotfl:

Walked sadly back to my car ,then thought,if you fall off the horse ,get right back on!

Spotted my fave SA.........Yipee............things are looking up!

Put my goodies on the belt then realised SA had new SA watching him!:eek:
Just as it was my turn he said to the new guy ,you have a shot now!
Oh no :eek: ,I thought he might not take my coupons. I carefully removed MOCs for things I hadn't bought!
Supervisor descended and said "Oh no you can't have a go yet!"
My fave SA took over again,we had a laugh about the Supervisor.The poor new SA looked so fed up!
All coupons were scanned no problem,even the MOCs for things I hadn't bought that I dug out of my bag again:rotfl: :rotfl:

I thought I better give up !

So a couple of SB will be wasted as I can't get to Tescos tomorrow:mad:


There were more Elvive mousses(mice?:rotfl: ) on the shelf but SEL said £2.59!
Has that been fixed now????

would not accept any of the new £1 kids vits just said not spent enough so I am guessing that these do not count as kids vits.

Haven't found any new leaflets

Did two shops today, both without any problems regarding the coupons being accepted

First one got four Radox (the glitch worked) and two Elvive shampoo (glitch worked)

Only could give him £5 worth of coupons (2 of the £1.25 QK and the 1 £2.50 HB one)

Second shop

Only had one 2.50 and 1.25 QK coupon so tried to be clever (and it actually worked

got four of the white Elvive mousses for £10.36

gave a BOGOF of 6.96

Used the £3.75 of coupons

and had 35p to use on other shopping

coupons were a bit dogged eared cos of getting wet in all the rain

and i'm sure if i had had another QK it would have been accepted but impressed with free mousse and 35p off my shopping from just two coupons

Using basic rule of 1 of each coupon £2.50, £1.00, £1.25 & 40p colgate, I set out to do 40 shops but only pulled off 20 & one £60.00 clothes one... I fled from 1 store as they would only take 1 coupon which was the £1.25qp & 40p colgate one which was classed as the complimentary moc.

I did come across a flaw in my previous mentioned shopping lists & that is the So... Body Spray is £1.59 (not £1.99 as on the BOGOF list on the first page)... so left that combo... Back to the drawing board for free sprays.

6 transactions lined up on the belt 4 of the radox combo & 2 of the Vo5 with Elvive shampoo combo I've previously mentioned & supervisor came over... :eek: had already done 12 shops in there... Luckily was pulled for the 6 of each item policy, got away with 6 of each scent & put one of the transactions in a basket to go back.

Also did 6 x loaded spray, 1 x value tpaste & 1 tin toms (21p ) to pay 4p.
Also 4 x hair mousse @ £2.59, 1 x value tpaste 3 x morning fresh wash up liquid & 1 x curry noodles = 1p to pay.

Had a good day all in all after shakey start.

Radox glitch worked for me today, but the mousses scanned at the higher price.

Couldn't find the kids' H&B coupons, but still did a good health shop: 2x Mates condoms (probably looked a bit funny buying them as I am 38 weeks pregnant :rotfl: ) and 2x Lypsyl, £8.15 after BOGOF and used 2x £2 and 4x £1 so 15p to pay (this was part of a large shop though).

i tried this yesterday with the IQ chews and the till would not accept the new kids £1 coupon, so the next time i bought the Bassetts omega 3 vits on bogof 4.99 each and used the new £1 kids vitamins voucher, £2 quit and 2x £1 healthcare and they all went through fine, so they were free with a penny profit.:)

I need to get going on the HC stuff, especially those Bassets vits ones. There's only about 2 weeks until the current HB leaflets run out. :eek:

PS. The stickers in the new kids packs are really good. My DS was sticking them all over his face on the way round the store today
