Hi everyone,
I have had a couple of months away from the board as haven't had the time to post, haven't made really made progress with paying down the debt as income vs outgoings is very tight. In some ways you could say I've increased the debt by borrowing money off my mum to pay for the garden to be landscaped for £1500. This money will be paid back in the next few weeks from money I'm receiving.
What isn't helping with managing to pay any extra of the debts is our grocery shopping has rocketed, something that hopefully will change in the next few weeks.
However, my determination has only increased to pay off the debts sooner. I really want to start the journey to financial independence.
The good news is that my H2B savings are over the £1,000 mark. Also the mortgage hopefully should dip into the 7's. Very exciting.Savings for H2B Loan Annual £10, 774.65/£40,000Emergency Fund: £0/£1000 Car Maintenance Fund £0/£900
