I can assure you that I am right-the handset was yours from day one, it is not leased. You could have sold it on day one of the contract if you wished to. No, they won't reduce your tariff until you reach the end of the 24 month minimum term (or at least they are under no obligation to do so, though you have nothing to lose by asking). You have't 'almost paid off' the phone, you are only half way through your contract.
After 24m, you are free to: give 30 days notice and end the contract, upgrade and start a new contract, or switch to a new contract or SIM-only deal elsewhere.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
