vrgin extended my contract without me knowing

    Sorry, but that's very inaccurate. Any payment made for service is full acceptance of a contract commitment and all its terms - noi signature is requied. There is no 'rolling contract' the contract runs until you cancel - there may be minimum term commitments that can be added at inception, or when services change, but Virgin always confirm this in writing anyway, and are one of the better companies at pointing this out - but it is amazing how many don't read the information.
  • In my case I was not informed over the phone and the contract was sent to an address before I moved in. So actually very accurate. No consent no contract.

    You don't have to receive it, all they need to demonstrate is that they sent it to you.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Something they could not demonstrate hence the apology and no exit fee. This forum is desperate to be right its a bit embarrassing.
