I know a volunteer is worth ten pressed men - but why did I volunteer for a meet and greet at the club open day (outside!) when there's black clouds scudding overhead and the wind's picked up - just changed into a set of warmer gear. Just hope we get a good attendance.

First rain here in ages! Birds enjoying it and singing their wee heads off. Plants are too.
Well enjoying it, not singing. If my plants start singing then I'll know it's time to see the doctor.

It's sunshine and showers on the cut this weekend, we're giving the boat a coat of primer in between the showers, tomorrow morning it's sanding down and then another coat.
I've swapped the horrible shower curtain for a nicer one from the house, swept through and mopped, it's never ending with Captain Hot Stuff sanding down the outside.

We have had a day of rain here - first for a fortnight, the grass is getting greener by the minute. Can't remember it being so dry so early in the year.

I have lit the stove as it feels really chilly, having a relaxing evening - I may test the limencello I have just bottled, there was some left over from bottling and it would be a shame to pour it away!
