Don't do it Softstuff! Driving me nuts having all the unfinished bits... I want to get on with the next bit, but am trying to make sure the bits that are done are done before I starts creating anymore chaos.
See, that was instinct no. 1, but then I thought about having the tiles lifted in the main area, and ground down.... and how much dust and crap there would be, and figure that I didn't want freshly painted walls in the other rooms at that point. I'm tired of running around trying to protect things from the next job, it'd be nice to only have myself to worry about.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
you've got a point. Assuming you have somewhere to put all the stuff when every room is in complete upheaval
I have to call the electrician and the Aga people tomorrow. Oh. And the chimney people. And THEN track down the builder - who I owe money, but who hasn't responded to the list of outstanding items ...0 -
Hello all, I read back a few pages but need to catch up some more yet.
Main thing I picked out was Mardatha and Hester joining forces - sends my mind reeling at the prospect of 2 such formidable women taking on the world
Did I see Mrs LW is going to be a Grandma again? Congratulations xxx
Hester just had a read through your blog and besides wondering how you fit everything in a day I also had a good laugh at some of your posts.
I am busy here as I defeated the powers that be and got said benefits re-instated. I also found I can now earn a small amount a week without being punished again. I dream of supporting us myself nut that will take time. So I am now very busy with orders for my crafty goodness - success:j
Fairy Princess will you let me know when the next vintage fair is on in Stockport as I have never seen an advert for one.
Ds has settled in to his new job and is very happy.
Dd is back at work after mat leave but struggling to pay for childcare in the hols so I am taking up the slack. She is run off her feet at work so is looking for a more sensible job before she collapses. If Dgs slept better she would be ok.
Hugs to all, will pop by more often now. xxClearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
I will get my caravan0 -

Certainly are GINNY, today will be Ruthies 20 week scan so we'll hopefully know if baby is a pink one or a blue one but they are not telling names until small person arrives. Due date is 8th January but if she has the liver bile problem again this time round her delivery date of 2 weeks early like Zebra will be Christmas Day! let's all hope she's OK and goes to term! So excited xxx.0

Morning all,
I had a bad headache for a couple of days and then spent the rest of the weekend catching up from it. The bottle border is almost finished, and I'm looking forward to carrying my work into the garden today with something cool to drink. It is a gym day today, but if I don't rouse myself to go before lunch I may have to skip it as it gets very warm. My workouts are very odd at the moment with the chest muscle and all of my joint exercises. We've listed some things on ebay, but thus far are getting very little interest. Anything that doesn't sell will go to the CS.
Ginny The vintage fair is the second Sunday of the month. I find it is actually more pleasant in the winter/when it is raining as it is far less crowded. We usually leave by 12 or 1, so I'm not sure if it gets a bit quieter in the afternoons--we meet OH's parents for a coffee as they like to come so it is a convenient place for us to see each other regularly.
The dates/themes are here:

I'm pleased you have your benefits sorted out and that you're able to earn a bit!
Mrs LWCongratulations on the new grandchild! I hope your DD is able to carry to term and that all goes smoothly.0 -
I've just totted up my allotment harvests of onions, early & main crop spuds...
11.2kg of onions
23.4kg of Charlotte early spuds
28.4kg of Rooster red main crop spuds
Am very pleased, as although the onion crop was less than last year, I have a further 3kg of chopped onions in the freezer from those that bolted, so that lot will see me & DH and any visitors through to next year :j2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
