I cleared out most of my clothes a few years ago Holly's nan, and then did hubby's, he's not noticed anything missing so far.
I got up and did my housework at 5am whilst it was still cool and then went back to bed at 7 until 8.
I have the 2 year old twins visiting tomorrow so I won't get much done then but it should be fun.
DD1 came over yesterday and we had a good natter and made loads of plans.
My only plan for today though is to drink loads of water.Chin up, Titus out.0 -
Hi tunathe cat,
It really is very easy to do your own murals. Sorry, you live too far away from me, otherwise I would help you. I used emulsion as a base, then I used acrylics for the rest. The murals on my shed have lasted 10 years, Murals on brick don't last as long. Find a picture or drawing of what you want and copy. I love your ideas, see you are on your way. Use the cheap bottles of craft acrylic, NOT the artist dear ones. Large areas like sand for your beach hut idea, use the match pots in emulsion. TT X0 -

Hi again all. I have just started a new thread, as apart from the crumpets, cakes and scones ( What about waffles? Smothered in fresh cream and strawberries), I need some help. The thread is titled What's that noise??? Take a look, and join if you can help me.

Well now I know why DS said a woman came in and bought 72 match pots. He said it took forever to put them through the till.
I have a NEXT. DS came home from work last night he has been given two weeks notice. Business has been really bad for the last month and they are getting rid of everyone on a short term contract. Most of the other staff that have not been there for years are on 10 and 20 hour contracts and they are all cut back to their contract hours. He has bee complaining it is quiet for the past month.0 -
Oh, my nursemaggie, the NEXT alerts me every time! My hubby had his teaching hours cut, cut again, then cut altogether. I foolishly said it was his age (60yrs last month). Give hubby a big hug, tell him that on a positive note, there are so many things you need him to do now. Keep him busy. As one door closes, another door opens. XXX from TT0

So sorry nursemaggie. He has worked his socks off to make a success of that job and this seems so unfair. I hope they will give him a glowing reference that will help with finding something else. Give him a pat on the back and a "well done," from me and all my best wishes for the future.I believe that friends are quiet angels
