As a long term mostly lurker but occasional poster; I just wanted to say how sorry I am that Mrs LW has felt she couldn't post any longer. I have always seen her as kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. I fear that she won't see the nice comments about her but if you are still there Lyn I just wanted to add my comments. God bless you. I am just back in and am so disappointed at what I am seeing. I am joining mrs LW and am off too. I wish the newbies luck in adding the depth and experience that had been willingly shared by the old timers.

As a part time poster, I will really miss you MrsLW. Thank you for all your down to earth wisdom and I hope you can come back some day.
Also Kittie, I will miss you too. Your advice on all sorts of things from weather to sewing has been very helpful.
Take care, both of you, and maybe we'll see you somewhere else soon. Xx

I'm not entirely understanding what's happening, but will miss you MrsLW. I vanished myself from the forums for a couple of years, but returned in the end. Hope you will too.

Plants are safe and retrieved, there was only 1 casualty. I've promised them I won't be as careless with them again :o As it stood though, me getting overly upset about that here at home made me open up about other things that were really bothering me, but given we can't resolve those, it's kind of a problem shared is a worry doubled. In any case, thank you all for understanding.

Oh joy the trolls are back.

Softstuff, glad you rescued your plants.

I'm still knee deep in grandchildren here, after 3 hours sleep on Friday night the littlest slept 5:30 until 6am, so I'm feeling more human today.

Yesterdays high points include a toddler drawing on herself with a sharpie and then climbing into the raised bed to make mud pies, oh and my beloved phoning with a list of 'don't forget to' and 'can you get' the answer to these was no, I'm busy but with rude words added.

Right time I fed the hordes before they eat the play doh we made yesterday

I don't usually post here but I do read daily.

I am sorry to see that Mrs LW is not going to be on the boards and will miss her.

Please excuse me if this is not an acceptable thing from an 'outsider'.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

You are not an outsider if you have been following the thread. Please join in the "over the garden fence" chat, it is a supportive and friendly group despite recent upheavals. I think there must have been a bad moon rising or something, people have been so touchy and emotional all recently, but we are all humans, we share the same planet and there is room at the fence for all.

I'm glad you were able to rescue most of the plants :) and at least you have been able to let out your worries even though nothing can be done about them just at the moment. Thinking of you xx
