Thank you silvasava - if it's that small an amount then it's definitely worth a try. I always used to have greasy hair; now it's still greasy near the scalp but dry everywhere else! and manages to be both frizzy and flyaway!
I do have some MooGoo conditioner but it's doesn't seem to work as well as their shampoo.
We voted mid-morning; the staff said it had been "quite slow but steady"! I expect there'll be a rush this evening.0 -
Silvasava, I'm exactly the same shape as a Beryl Cook lady, I have one of her prints on my wall.
Tweezers Maryb, no chance, it's a cutthroat razor and strop for me.
Toasted tablet, mmm, sounds tasty Softstuff.
We've been to vote, we went as soon as hubby returned from his interview, sadly he didn't get the job, I'm on plan B.1. In other words no idea what to do next.
Also had some news about my job, my machines are being moved to another room, atm my room can get up to 104deg even with both doors and all the windows open to get a through draught, so there is aircon fitted. The new room only has 1 door that must be kept closed and one small window so no through draught available there is also no aircon. I am going to be a puddle on the floor!Chin up, Titus out.0 -
Hester, my room is a bit like that and I managed to pick up an almost new air cooler on Freegle. It might be worth having a look. After all. It would be their electricity.
Sorry I've not been around much. Life IS pretty hectic. DIL is still with her parents. Her mother is stable but they are still waiting for results. Even if all else is well it will be 6 to 9 months before she can consider being able to walk again.
Pickle decided that we should have a barbecue tonight. The rain was coming down in stair rods so we compromised with burgers in the kitchen. I have promised that if the sun shines tomorrow we will take a picnic on to the beach.
I have fresh admiration for grandmothers who take on the bringing up of small grandchildren.
I am EXHAUSTED.

Weather report looks good for tomorrow Monna - suggest you try to get little pickle running about as much as possible. Maybe trying to find certain things on the beach while you sit and wait???
Good to hear DiL mother is stable.
I've booked for two nights at the marina so weather permitting we have a date at the Pilot where I shall be most upset if you don't let me ply you with a few shandies!!
Titus out loveSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
My brother once kept my nephew busy for hours looking for a blue leaf monna...:)0

Silva. Just let me know when you are here. The idea of sitting around with a glass of something vaguely alcoholic sounds delightfully decadent. I am just about ready for some me time.
Greenbee. That is evil!!! I can see Pickle standing with her hands on her hips saying "why is the leaf blue? What colour flowers have blue leaves? Where do blue trees grow? If blue trees grow in the magic forest why would we find one on the beach? Can we go to the magic forest? Well, can we go tomorrow then? If we can't go to see the blue trees what else can we do? What are you going to do? ...."
Then the 4 words of doom. "Can I help you?"

Monna two standard apprentice requests at an engineering stores for consideration for Pickle:
A long stand
A glass hammer
And from the hospitality industry:
A chocolate teapot
Tartan food colouring
An underwater hairdryer
All tried and all work.
Beachcombing sound like the ideal activity for them Monna. If it can exhaust my friends two jack Russells, it can certainly work on kids.
Hester, your work is starting to remind me of the film office space, where they move Milton to ever more ludicrous work areadps hoping he'll leave. Someone there needs a reality check.
My microwave has packed up 2 months out of warranty (but Breville are nice and have agreed for a chap to look at it at their cost, any repairs we pay). I finished ordering all the bathroom stuff and work on that starts soon. I finished edging the new lawn yesterday and today andother 1.5 cubic metres of gravel is arriving and will be moved. *phew*.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070
