Bum - keep losing posts. Ivyleaf (Ad other ladies with a similar problem) I've found the Argan Oil (Aldi?) is really good for dry hair. It smells lovely and doesn't make your hair greasy. It really tames dry locks & I wouldn't be without it now.
Hester - I'm imagining you as one of the Beryl Cook ladies :rotfl:

    No. No. No.

Just finished a long, beautifully crafted post. Phone rang. Put tablet down to pick up phone and wiped the post.

    Feel a bit put out.

Will try again when I have recovered.

Monna - you are not alone. I thought I had recovered mine but no :(

Fuddle - your peas may be being got at by pidgeons - they do like to have a nibble, or maybe slugs. If its slugs I make a little 'house' with some stones and a piece of broken pot as a roof and put the slug pellets underneath so the birds don't eat the dead slugs or the pellets.

Mar, I ignore my eyebrows, I'm too busy worrying about the lovely goatee I'm growing.
Fuddle lovely to see you posting.
Not the same as pvc, but I did once go to an event where some men were wearing leather chaps, unfortunately they were not wearing trousers with them! My eyes still bleed at the memory.
My beloved has a very important day tomorrow, he is preparing the only way he knows, mainly running around the house screaming 'Where's me?' Men!

Avon do a good Argon Oil, I use it every day and my hair has been tamed considerably. As for the chin - why are some of the hairs like steel rods? And, how do they grow so quickly?

Mileasavesmoney my friend in Phoenix talks about a "swamp cooler" - what on earth is that?

 A swamp cooler is the slang name for an evaporative cooler. It is a vented on all sides of a metal unit that has porous pads on the interior of each side. Water is tubed to the unit and runs down the pads. The unit has a big fan that blows air through them and the air is vented into the house. This cooler works well in arid climates. We had a huge window unit in our home when I grew up. Most newer homes now have refrigerated air. Swamp coolers are still used by many people though. They are cheaper to run.

And you guys make me howl! I have all the mature lady problems you have mentioned!!

Monna, thank goodness you are there for your DIL. I personally love generations together. I know that's not how modern society does things nowadays, but I feel we are worse for not doing so. My grand father lived with us. I will always treasure that he did. Thinking of your DIL's family and saying prayers.

The plumber has extended the jackhammered hole in the kitchen and bedroom as he follows the cracked leaky drain pipe. He is now a foot away from the bathroom wall and no good pipe yet. The house is over 60 yrs. old and this old pipe just crumbles when he is feeling for the end of the crack. He will probably be jack hammering in the bathroom tomorrow. I have DD1 with her family coming for the 4th of July weekend. Fingers crossed I have plumbing installed and at least the concrete repoured to fill these holes by then.
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

And how is it Camelot, that you are unaware of their unlovely presence until thoughtfully stroking your chin mid-conversation with someone you hoped to impress. And why can't you leave them alone but have to keep going back to see if they are still there.

Will try to post properly tomorrow when I have more time.

And why are they just below the lowest point you can see in the mirror while wielding tweezers?
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
