fairyprincess Maggie must look so cute carrying socks around
Chickens Thank you for the kind offer to unblock my drainsI'm glad to say it was just that a plastic bag had blown into the garden from somewhere and come to rest on top of the drain so the water from the kitchen and bathroom couldn't get into it.
Camelot Lucky DD! She'll have a fabulous time, bless her. It'll be New Zealand next, you wait and see
Lyn That's a lovely mental picture! SIL's guide dog loves socks too.
Managed to get a bit of leaf-raking done in the garden yesterday. It was exciting to see the new plants peeping through underneath. DH has mended the cable of the hedge trimmer (he accidentally cut through it last year) and said he was going to trim the hedge today, but he may be reprieved as it's been raining.

She does look cute with the socks, although it took awhile before we actually saw her doing it. She seems to do it a lot at night, or if we're out for most of the day--we just hear her at night and find the socks in her usual places--her scratch mat, her blanket outside the bedroom door etc. Sometimes she'll bring them to me as a 'gift.'
I like that Docky also enjoys socks, albeit in a far more dog-like way!
Pets are marvelous, aren't they?0 -
Fingers crossed Jazee.
Burtha cocker spaniel pups are the best. Hope they are letting you sleep.
Softstuff I am SO getting a starter when our kitchen is sorted. I must think up a good name for him. Bernard?
Have done more unpacking and furniture placement and contemplating what to start next now.0 -
Oh my goodness, whatever has happened to normality, a single post is taking up the whole screen now, why has the format been changed? it's awful! An awful lot of the avatar pictures are missing too, just the odd one has survived the transition can this be remedied?0

Well I lost my post trying to look where to tell them what you think. I have read all the posts and only one person likes it but it looks like we are stuck with it. Just like facebook we the users don't count.
I agree it is horrible. You can't tell where you got to last. That's OK for this one as I am subscribed. The rest I read I am not. I have been going by if I have thanked them or not now there is no way of knowing.0 -
