Wonderful news Nurse Maggie, a real start for him :j
Mann grande (that's what my tablet gives me Monta. ..Minnesota. ...monnagran! ) there's nowt wrong with a red boat. Unless you had pea green paint and were going to sea, which is a more beautiful choice. I'm afraid if you need binoculars to spot a bulging holster in the Isle of Wight, I'm staying in Australia
Greenbee, might I suggest purchasing a dust mask before you get home... or just staying away. I'm finding the dust more stressful than many of the other jobs.
Off to the physio and leaving my husband to deal with it all. Suddenly an hour of torture looks surprisingly relaxing.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Carolbee: Sorry, my love, I can't give any information about what the gunmen get up to in other parts of the country, nor do I know which day of the week they come a-calling in your particular area. You will have to take that up with TPTB, I have enough problems dealing with the blighters on my own patch.
As to the church people I knew, those on the Island, bless their cotton socks, have welcomed me back with open arms. Not that many have yet realised that I am around again. I have deliberately kept a very low profile as I find explaining the situation too emotional. However, I am slowly putting my toe into the social pool again.
The people I left so suddenly on the mainland are reportedly upset and mystified at my abrupt disappearance. I've not contacted any of them because the situation there must sort itself out and I don't want to muddy the waters.
This sounds a bit cloak and daggerish but it's all I can say. Of course I don't mind you asking.
Nursemaggie: that is wonderful news for your son. Honestly, you'd think he was working for MI5 the cautious way they ease him into their precious company. Still, its a step in the right direction for him. And for you.
Softstuff: Minnesota thinks that you should stop casting aspidestras at our Island's bulging holsters. You're just jealous. I hope the torturer is having a bad day. So there!
Any more of this and I'll set Hester on you.

I'm writing to Scottish Borders Council complaining about our binmen. We have 3 ancient crabbit gnomes.
Trying hard to get into Spring mode but it's not easy in this north wind. Earth still freezing and not even the weeds growing yet. On the other hand the noise of (freezing) lambs is lovely, and my daffs are coming out.
I didn't know MrsL was away - where's she gone now? I had a dream about her last night lol, I met her in a hospital canteen and she was sat at a table doing her knitting0 -
It SHOULD be bin day here, but it's been delayed until tomorrow because of the Easter hols.

Sorry Islandmaid, you live on quite the wrong side of the Island. Everyone knows that it is only the lawless east side that gets treated to the gun toting binmen.x
Monnagran - that's it, we,re gonna have to move to the dark side of the island - you get bulging holsters, we get DFL's (down from Londons) in pink shorts.... You winNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

You made me chuckle at that, but not for the reason you might expect. I had a very unusual physio session today, no nastiness, it was downright pleasant (releasing c5-7). I commented as much to my [STRIKE]torturer[/STRIKE] physio amd suggested she must be having a good day. She said no, she'd had a pretty terrible one, but was happy that I'd done my exercises like a good girl she said and took pity on me. So it seems I might have you to thank for that Monaghan. ..er... never mindSoftstuff- Officially better than 0070
