Anyway - onwards and upwards, or as a good friend of mine says, "Chin up, Tits out."
Or as my tablet wanted me to put, "Titus" out.

Many moons ago, in another life, I was in the entertainment business. Just before going on stage and apart from 'Break a Leg', the other saying was 'Tits and Teeth':D

Sorry to hear 2015 was not good to you Monna. Hope this new year brings you happiness.

Monna .So glad to see you here again but sorry things have been so hard the past year . I have always loved your posts , you are a true inspiration . As one who had to leave a toxic marriage many years ago I know how hard life must have been at times for you yet your humour and grit shine through your posts .
Sending you prayers and strength at this tough time .
Is it bad to imagine dear docky who you did your utmost to educate in the use of the english language having a muttley snigger in doggy heaven at your posting predicament .
Sending best wishes to all who post . Life here is a bit full on but I will post when able and I do read daily .
    polly .

Worlds turning upside down eh? There's been a fair few of us who had their lives turned upside down in 2015.

We should celebrate that we're still here, able to smile, appreciate what we do have and have the strength to seek out even more ways to help us manage.
  • MONNA you've NEVER moaned in your life, and you're the first one to pick up sufferers and spread those wings of comfort over them when it's needed. It IS so nice to turn on and see your name on a post though love, I've missed the banter so much!!!

  • So do I love, it means an awful lot to me and I know he's still around even if his physical self has left, the essence of Docky is still here keeping us company and occasionally taking over the keyboard with his writings!!! Bless you I love it!!!

Gosh Lyn, whatever can you be imagining? It's not even that interesting. As you know, my name is Joy but all my life I have been bedevilled by folk who think that they will give me what they assume to be my 'proper' name - JOYCE. Unfortunately my tablet agrees with them. My paternal grandmother agreed when I was born. "Joyce" she mused, "yes, that's a nice name". My father corrected her. She was appalled. "You can't call her that. It's not even a proper name." One day I' ll bore you all with how I got the name, but not now.
Dear Rocky, how I struggled with his dyslexia, to no avail alas. Sorry Lyn, I did type ROCKY (No, it'not having it). I'll try again DOCKY . Eureka, third time lucky.

    That's quite enough for today.
