Been cold again today, but sunny :)

nursemaggie Did you have a chance to view the flat? Thinking of you.

Mardatha I saw your thread about what food to give the RV.. poor man, that's rotten if he can't even have fruit :( no wonder you're struggling for ideas. I must admit my OH isn't as careful about his diet as he should be, which explains his last HbA1C result. And he's on 3 different tablets!

Thanks for asking ivyleaf we have not heard a thing. I think it is time to write to my family and tell them not to send any Christmas cards until I have a new address. I will have to post all the presents too.

I think the longer it goes on the more likely they are to ask us to move in the next day. We can't pack yet without boxes. I need a removal company to get the boxes but I can't book a removal company until we have an confirmed address.

I will go look at your post Mardatha and see if I can help.

Glad to hear you're keeping well shegar. Yes agree re a coal fire!
I had 2 teeth out and then complications and had dental surgery this morning. Got an infection in it too. And the best of is it that I asked them to take the teeth out - it was a bridge and I hated it. I should keep quiet lol.

Ooh mardatha, that sounds painful. Hope you feel better soon.

Chickens, you sound to be in a really good place, I have a log burner and prefer to put that on than the heating but every now and again the house needs a good warm through.

Just made some oaty biscuits for work and some almond crackers for me, it's warmed the kitchen up at least!

Oh Mar, you poor love :( I hope you feel a bit better today.

nursemaggie How frustrating about the flat  and the boxes! any good ringing them and asking if they know when you're going to be able to view it?

Sheila The thread has been a bit quiet lately - perhaps a lot of posters are using Facebook instead. So nice to see you back though! I so enjoy reading your posts.

camelot1001 Almond crackers sound right up my OH's street :)
