That's great ta Ivy, just need to cut down that syrup for the RV. Will eat all my granola then try this one tomorrow0
-
Hope it works for you Mar! Fingers crossed.
I wonder of cutting down the amount of syrup will stop it sticking together though? But I can't think of anything else you could use apart from honey, which of course would be just as bad for the RV.
In other news, I was having a lot of problems with my wireless mouse. The cursor kept disappearing, or else it kept staying in the same place when I moved the mouse.
It turned out to need new batteries.....I never thought of that:rotfl:

I use more butter - that seems to help a wee bit stick it together. This batch did eventually stick after left in the fridge for a while.
We both knackered after an orgy of decluttering and Ikea- furniture building. How two people, one of them a minimalist, can collect so much garbage is beyond me!0 -
Hello fencers. Just read through and my plans for the next hour have changed, I'm just off to make some flapjacks, and I wonder why I never lose weight.Spend less now, work less later.0

Oops, sorry Jazee! And it's all our faults
:D

Coo-ey, me again! Sitting here with a brew and a piece of strawberry flavoured flapjack. I only had 2 tbsp of golden syrup so added strawberry syrup instead, and it's delicious so no apologies necessary.
Another couple of hours spent in the garden, its beginning to look tidier. Normally at this time of year you can sit back and enjoy your endeavours, but its been so wet its just weeding all the time when you can actually get out.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
I have just successfully rehomed a big beetroot, a big bunch of parsley, a cucumber, some windfall apples and a big bag of greenhouse tomatoes.......well done ME!!! They only came to talk fishing with He Who Knows as well, that'll teach 'em!!!0

Morning fencers - I see we have the typical Bank Holiday weather!
Glad you are pleased with your flapjacks Jazee!
Well done Lyn for rehoming the veg and apples
I've just got a stew in the slow cooker ready for tonight. It's definitely "comfort food" weather today! I was really pleased to find beef skirt in Morrison's - not seen it for years, and I remember my mother sending me to the butcher's to get some for a stew0 -
Morrisons also sell pig & ox cheeks, as well ham shanks, that aren't seen in the other supermarkets.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Haha MrsL - I've just managed to offload a cucumber and some tomatoes to my next door neighbour! But the Green beans are stashed in the freezer.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
