I think it airs on Sundays, Floss. We don't have a TV, but I like to know which day I can start looking for things on catch up!

Hello Everyone, not been very good at keeping in touch, I seem to be so busy doing nothing!

Realised last night that it really was Thursday and I had made arrangements to go and visit friends up north this weekend. Had a quick scurry round and have got myself organised so heading up after work. Should be a good drive as it will be in daylight and the scenery will be absolutely stunning.

Friends live in the highlands close to Strathpeffer and is one of the very few places I can totally relax. As you can tell I am looking forward to it, just a shame DD is working as she likes to go too.

Not caught up with all your news, will do that later. Hope you are all well.

    Morning all,

Camelot I hope you enjoy your visit. It sounds nice.

Today's plans include a few errands in town this afternoon, revision this morning and possibly a bit of knitting if I get some time. Tonight's tea is either cuban black beans and rice or chicken fajitas. I'm currently leaning towards fajitas. Since I didn't go to the gym yesterday I may go today. I was still feeling a little wiped out yesterday but I was ravenous by tea time so I think I'm back to normal.

    I hope all are well.x

Ooh Camelot, am very jealous of your trip to Strathpeffer, I have friends who live just outside Inverness and have wonderful memories of walks around the falls.

Morning fencers. Yes very quiet on here, I've been completely lost in the paid stuff for most of the week.

Today, I have been dog walking/shopping at the farm and.....thats about it really. I didn't want to get out of bed and that's not like me.

Later I am playing in my first friendly match. Wish me luck. I've had more worries struggling over what to take for the after match buffet. I haven't had time to bake anything, so am taking shop bought savouries and sweet stuff. I expect to be frowned upon!

Hope you're all having an ok kind of weekend so far.
Spend less now, work less later.

Wondering if everyone's stunned into silence by the election result  Not something anyone was expecting.... I really thought there'd be a hung Parliament :(

I'm not stunned Ivy, I'm deliriously happy (with the Scotland result, not the UK one!) and to celebrate I had a very rare day oot up in Edinburgh and even (gasp) went on a tram! lol living it up here :)
  • I'm coming round to the view that a high proportion of us had no intention of admitting just which way we were going to vote - and hence the pollsters got it all totally wrong.
