Will be back later on but now I have to put a small to bed, rope in my neighbour to watch some trashy TV for me while I go out and pound the streets!!

Hi hummingbird!!
Yes I felt rather blessed to be honest, raining as it was it was still beautiful and the sky so clear I could see Dungeness in all its gloryIt was showering with rain over the sea towards France so I couldn't see the coastline there but I really enjoyed it - the freshness in the air from the rain was lovely and the exercise was just what I needed
love my FGN for being so happy to come and sit in my living room and watch my tv with a cup of tea bless her. Jelly never wakes up after bedtime unless she is sick and now it is under control with the meds I am much happier leaving her for an hour
Sorry your friend didn't make it. Best laid plans as they say. I had similar as I had friends coming back from Belgium meant to be dropping in, but the train journey back made the very pregnant lady friend very sick so they couldn't come in the end despite being a couple of miles from me! More biscuits for mexxx

^ strange it happened to you too! And it could be happening to me again, tomorrow morning - a friend wants to drop by for a coffee at 8am, on their way from the airport....haven't even asked if it's Stansted or East Mids LOL!!
Remains to be seen if this actually happens, and I've had to let them know I'm at the doctors for 10.00am, so it can't be for very long, although it would be lovely to see them.
It's been one of those days today where I've kept thinking it's Friday, and had to keep reminding myself it's Thursday LOL:rotfl:
Does this ever happen to anyone else? Once it starts it seems to last all day!!£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

Most days hummingbird! I never know what day it is until I go to check with the Chef what the days menu is - they think I'm utterly hopeless as a result.
Lilty I used to work in Lydd, used to be much happier when the weather was a bit miserable and I couldnt see Dungeness! Then again I was returned to work a couple of times by the Nuclear Police as I wandered too far (that said I was returned to work by the Military Police a couple of times too). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I've had that all week this week Humming, been one day ahead every day.
Good luck with the Dr, let me know how it all goes, even in PM if you're more comfortable that way. Be as open as you can, you won't be judged (by the Dr I mean. Obviously I will judge you something chronic) xx

Brilliant to see you MeandO:hello: Welcome to my "Sleepless in Seattle" midnight and early hours wanderings LOL!!!
Haven't met up with my friend to look at our choices of destination for this hotel break!! Something to look forward to after the visit to the doctor this morning left me shaken up.:o
It went well in itself (thanks Westie!) as the doctor was lovely and really listened, asked me the usual ?????'s and is referring me for counselling. (although that won't start until they ring me and arrange it, which could take a while due to waiting list.) He may prescribe some mild medication when I go back to see him in 3-4 weeks time (whether I've had any counselling or not by then) but he quite clearly discerned that my problems are situational and circumstantial...........of course over all the money problems.
I just felt shaken up to have actually told someone about all this - guess it's partly relief as well! In fact that friend coming back from the airport called in later after I'd been for my appt and I ended up telling them all about my money worries too!! So after telling no-one in real life before I did so twice this morning - felt really weird but I'm starting to feel the value of it and I think the counselling will help me loads (I'm getting debt counselling as well). I'm not telling any other real-life friends though, just this one who I know for sure I can trust won't tell anyone else.
Thank you for thinking about me, I really appreciate it! xxx£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[
