My father was a chiropodist and our yorkie used to raid the bins for toenails!

    Mother's false teeth.
    Father's hearing aid. (£1000 worth.)
    The door frame.
    The radiator cover.
The garden fence (desperate to say hi to the neighbours).
    The rocking chair
    The laundry basket.
The electric cable to the fire, ditto the lamp, ditto the mobile phone.
The usual assortment of rugs, shoes, handbags, general detritus.
Lots and lots of cat poo.
    Blankets and cushion.
Coat pockets, on the off chance they may contain food.
A bag of compost (less eaten, more strewn around the dining room.)
The veg from the veg patch and the strawberries. Various other plants.
    Coal.
Plus anything else I fail to dog proof before leaving the room.

(Collateral damage by a succession of bull terriers.)
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    I've been Money Tipped!
My normally very well behaved dog ate two arm chairs and a sofa an acquaintance had given the dogs as dog furniture. I hold its because they could smell cannabis on it and it upset them, they've never done that before or since.

They often bring in random bits of animal they find in the fields. :(. This is not pleasant. Often its feet ( relatively fresh, often complete with maggots) Often its old jaw bones, old, but sometimes with teeth.

Mainly they eat things that are ok for them, but annoying. I have to try and get eggs before my terrier does, because he loves eggs, and knows all the places the hens lay.

the incident I will never forget (and I have posted this before so apologies if you have read it), was when my staffy Anni ate my fathers Christmas present. a huge box of Chocolate liquers! on Christmas Eve! we came home to find torn wrapping, cardboard scraps and a staffy behind the settee! no sign of chocolates or their foil wrapping!
frantic phone call to vet - Who said (and I will never forget this), 'Fetch her in - but don't let her drive'!
Took her to vets who gave her an emetic - Christmas day was such fun! and we had to give vet a cheque (HUGE ONE) and OH was worried there wasn't enough in bank! Vet though didn't put cheque in for a few weeks! bless him!
oh and we had to explain to my dad 'The dog ate your Christmas present'!

I discovered my cat loves spaghetti bolognese. Which isn't as unnatural as his love of Chilli, that's just not normal. ;)

My second cat Nicki absolutely LOVED Chinese food- but only if it was in the foil container! put it in his dish and he ignored it. but anything in a foil container got devoured! chow mien, fried rice, curry, even chips and gravy!

    Oh well

2 out of my 3 cats love to chew plastic/carrier bags/toilet roll bags

Archie has to be the worst though, won't touch wet cat food, just dry for him, but he adores human food so he is on the mooch like a dog everytime you get yourself some food - His issues is CLOTHES.

The netting/tutu material - TWICE he has managed to scoff a load of it - TWICE he's had to get part of his intestine removed as it had blocked inside - TWICE my bill was almost £1000.

We aren't allowed pretty things now :rotfl:

Kitty ate a piece of wool (about 3" long or so) not long after we got him and I freaked out. Googled it and it said a short piece should be fine, but if it then appeared hanging out of his bum we shouldn't pull on it. :rotfl:

Utterly gross but a colleague told me that cats love ear wax. Wasn't convinced until kitty chewed up the foam tips on my earphones when I left them lying about after a run!

My dog's really good, he's only chewed (not eaten) things that could easily be mistaken for his own toys (wii remote, tv remote) and always when he's done it (4 times ish) realises and puts himself in time out haha

When he was tiny he used to get long hair from somewhere and swallow it - it used to leave poops hanging like sausages out of his bum, he got a bit worried about it not dropping so I had the unpleasant task of holding his poo while he walked away from it :/
    I can't add up.

Rubber bands!! I had to tell the postie to take them with him or put them in my wheelie rather than dropping them on the ground otherwise Bella hoovers them up.
