i think i may have found a snag. in their terms & conditions.

3.6. If you have acquired your Mobile Phone/Smart Phone on the basis that you enter into a Nominated Airtime Contract and,
within 7 days of receipt of your Mobile Phone/Smart Phone, you have failed either to arrange connection of the Mobile
Phone/Smart Phone to the network under the Nominated Airtime Contract if not already connected or, after notifying us of
your intention to cancel your contract and return your Mobile Phone/Smart Phone within the Trial Period, you have failed to
return it to us (by sending it special delivery to Online Returns, CPW Logistics Centre, Bilston Road, Wednesbury, W Midlands,
WS10 7JN) within 14 working days of notifying us of your cancellation, you hereby irrevocably agree to pay us the handsetonly
retail price (up to £400) and you authorise us to take this amount from your nominated credit or debit card or through
such other means as we may require.

i *think* this is saying that i must connect (ie use) the phone within 7 days of recieving it. am i reading that correct?

Yes - it must be connected to the network.

my current mobile is through work.

my boyfriend's phoen is through carphonewarehouse, which is how i think i got this email.

have no personal experience with e2save.

reading the cashback terms, they are quite stringent....

1- if you send in duplicate claim, too early, too late, etc, you get charged £10

2- if you send more than one claim in at a time, there's a charge

3- must be orginal bill

4- cannot change direct debit... that seems odd. what if you change bank?

5- you must remember what dates you need to claim b/c they won't tell you over the phone (?)

6- miss (1) cashback bit... lose all the rest...

i did call them for clarification-
can cancel insurance
charged for itimized billing but can cancel
no min amt of activity.
first come, first serve offer.

quite harsh... thinking twice...

i do notice that they include (1) month free insurance, after that it's £5.99. but i'm pretty sure i can cancel that.

If you might forget to use the phone every month, why not get a cheap pay go phone? Might cost you £20-30 but at least there's no horrible T's&C's to worry about and wondering if you'll get your money back. You'll be paying monthly line rental with this deal and not using many of the free mins or txts. It doesn't really make sense getting a contract like this if you don't need to use it often. Do a search for the other threads on e2save, some people claim they haven't been paid despite following the rules, so it is a gamble. Mess up the first claim and you're over £400 out of pocket for a phone you may not use much.

Voluntary code for mobile networks. The code has listed certain t&c as unreasonable. One of those is time allowed to claim your cashback and recommends 60 days.
