Agreed, I'm not even sure why people are even thinking it's the networks fault or problem.
Cash back deals are like gambling, you throw the dice and sometimes you lose.====0 -
Not gambling. A cert thing unless the dealer goes bust. I've had four go that way in about 8 years. During that time I've had scores of cashback contracts, made a decent profit on all the others, mitigated the loss substantially on the four and enjoyed totally free mobile use plus many more unexpected benefits. I've also ordered hundreds of such deals for many other people with the same degree of success.
If you bet on a horse that you know will win but it falls once in a blue moon it's not really gambling; gambling is when you can lose even if your horse reaches the finishing line!0 -

Its still gambling, just gambling at very low odds. Even if the horse has won the last 15 races it just might be beaten next time out, slim chance but still a chance
.
As soon as there is a chance of an alternative result, its a gamble.====0 -
So is crossing the road then.0

True, just not a gamble with a monetary element.
"I bet I can run across the M1 without being hit by a car" = a foolish gamble

Although I bet I can cross the road at the traffic lights and make a profit wouldn't be.0

But I would bet you would struggle to find traffic lights on the M1

Not forgetting the rank outsider gamble of the drunk driver doing break neck speed through a red light. Slim as it may be, its still the gamble you take.

marleyboy (total legend)
Marleyboy - You are, indeed, a legend.0 -
So do you unless you never cross a road. The difference is I'm on a sure winner if there isn't one since I always find gold on the other side.0
