Forever Living Products

Options
Hi there, I have an opportunity to be part of a team selling Forever Living Products. I am a little sceptical, has anyone made good money doing this please?

Rest in peace Spock xx

I think it's the same as Avon, Kleeneze, Betterware, Virgin Vie, Body Shop et al. You will get out of it what you put into it, but you'll be fleeced in the process on so-called admin fees, paying for brochures, all the stuff your clients return that they don't credit you for.

Have you ever used the products yourself? Would you buy them? Would you buy stuff from a stranger turning up on your doorstep. I was an Avon rep for about 10yrs, it was bloody hard work for little reward even though I had a large territory and good client base- this is because of the amount of deductions you have to make for petrol, printing, re-visiting clients who are out etc on top.

I would get a part-time job at minimum wage, rather than do it again. Especially now they all have these pressurised targets to make for sales and signing new people up. It's just not worth it IMHO. Oh and I was persuaded to buy some FLP once, they didn't do anything- waste of money!

Just try not to turn into someone who friends dread to see because that's ALL they talk about... my friend does it and has become seriously obsessed and people's faces drop when they see her as she is forever suggesting it for every ailment. I have a serious health condition - she told me her products were better than my consultants suggestions!

Thank you, will definitely keep that in mind... I can't see the local farmers here in North Devon all running to buy it anyway.

Careful as it is MLM NWM trying to suck you into a cult

It is overpriced & the ones right @ the top

Just remember Betterware is the only operation that is FREE OF ANY CHARGES to do & they do not ever say you'll earn £2000 part time :rotfl:

It just looks like people hype about it, every FB status some people write refers to this so psychologically people think they need it! Claims to be a miracle cure for everything...NHS should give it out!

The products are good but they are so expensive that it's very hard to justify the prices.

I've done it in the dim and distant past, it lasted about 2 months.

The products are lovely but very expensive, and in my experience the only people who make any money are the people at the top of the pyramid. You are encouraged to hold FL parties for family and friends, but unless you have hundreds of well-off friends (I don't), they will only want to attend once and will buy something out of politeness. After that, who are you going to sell to? I didn't want to go down the Avon-style knocking on doors route (done that too!:rotfl:).
