what time do you get paid on payday?

Hi,

good, so you got your pay.

You should now stock up on food, get some stuff that will see you through to the end of the month.

This is a 31 day month, you cupboards were bare in February, a 28 day month, so plan ahead.

Have a look at the Old Style MoneySaving forum, some good tips there.

Anytime between 12.30 and 12.45am on payday it clears, unless payday was a weekend then it seems to go in bang on midnight. Rubbish thing about banking with halifax is it doesn't show pending the day before, whereas HSBC always used to. I had a moan about it on facebook a few weeks back to no avail

Not only that but it's quite a relief sending it yo the different accounts and paying of bills after waiting a month to get paid

I sit next to the guy that presses they pay button and he manually checks and agrees each salary every month, funny think is when he hits the button some people get the money in seconds others can take a day or so
